I can see why this is an award winning product amazing finished to my 8x6 shed inside only used half a litter goes a long way didn't think it would be enough with 1 litter but it was very impressed with this woodstain no odour to this product like other ones on the market best decision I made buying this item made my shed look a million dollars will always buy this product.

Good product

Our wood kitchen worktops were looking water stained and shabby and we thought we would need to buy new ones but they were so expensive we thought we would try sanding them down, staining them and putting an oil sealant on them. I am no professional but the stain was easy to use (one coat) and the tops look brilliant. The colour is rich and they look really expensive looking. Everyone has asked if we have new work tops.

Exalent wood stain but arrived late sent back

This product is amazing - does exactly what it says on the tin but better! - had some old pine bedroom furniture that needed a bit of TLC - just sanded the areas that needed a lift, very slightly, brushed on the product hey presto! good as new. Also stripped back a dressing table top - brushed 2 coats of this product on - followed up with the clear wax and I have a beautiful new dressing table. The colour and tone of the wood dye matches the existing wood exactly. Thoroughly recommend!

This is a great product and I am very happy with the results. The stain went on easily and the floorboards look excellent with a warm colour to them that I was hoping for.

I so wanted this stain to work. Littlefair looks line a responsible company and the product looked good, at a reasonable price.I didn't order a sample pot as I was using the stain on new pine, which I believe the example colours are based. The project is the ceiling in my campervan conversion.The colour I ordered was 'Golden Pine' such is a warm, rich colour but you can see from the photo, it's just not the same. Some bits are quite a dark grey and the whole piece was a much flatter, duller colour - even with 3 layers of wood oil (No nonsense garden furniture oil) over the top.Thankfully, this was just a sample before I did the actual job!I've now raised a return and will look for a better solution - probably some Rubio Monocoat, which can be seen on the floor in the photo - lucky I have some left over!

The colour match wasn't as I expected

I get tired of using the stains that are offered in the hardware stores. I did a little research and got this which comes from the UK. This stain is great! Easy to use, cleans up with water, and doesn’t smell awful. i finished it with walnut wax and my table looks great!

Très bon produit. Super facile à utiliser, beau rendu, teinte fidèle et marche vmt bien sur du bois clair. Je l'ai utilisé pour teindre une commode dont le bois s'était tâché, résultat impeccable.

More brown than yellow. Had to add yellow to make gold. From now on I'll just make my own

I used 1L of the golden pine to stain a raw pine bunkbed. The application of the water-based stain was very easy, but I did manage a couple drips/splatters if not careful. I am very happy with the colour, after ordering a few 15ml testers. A single coat was enough and I still have about 1/3 of the bottle left. There was very little odor and the bed could be used later in the day. One minus star for the difficulty in timing the application. Streak are quite visible if the stain is left for more than a few minutes to dry and blending/sanding is needed to then cover the area. I am sure this is just a consequence of using a water-based vs oil-based dye but for projects with lots of nooks and crannies, this type of dye could be a challenge.I finished with the two coats of littlefairs superior danish oil (also recommended) and shown in the pictures.
