A full gallon pitcher is HEAVY, and I picked this one because the handle is placed more toward the center of gravity and feels more stable

Great-large pitchers

I got a couple of these jugs to use for making tea. I specifically wanted plastic jugs that could hold a gallon of liquid and be compact enough to fit into the door-shelf of my refrigerator, alongside a gallon of milk. This jug succeeds in that expectation. A couple of minor annoyances are that it drips a lot when pouring, and it's a little bit hard to clean. It's hard to get anything up inside to really wash it well, and it doesn't fit well into my dishwasher. I have to run the dishes without the silverware basket in order to find a way to fit it into the tray (think dishwasher posts sticking up-- it's hard to find a way to set it in upright [upside down] over the posts). None of these things are terrible flaws, the dishwasher thing in particular is simply a function of its shape, and is to be expected if you think about it. The drippy spout... they could have done that better, but it'll only cost them one star :-) I think it was a good purchase-- indeed, I bought two of them, and I would buy them again if I had the need.

I cannot believe this is a tupperware product!! This is one crappy pitcher you have to use two hands to pour!!! The spout will not stay open so pouring with this pitcher is a BIG joke!! Can only be used as a storage vessel! Have always loved Tupperware products and my Mom and her Mom always used these products! This will be the last Tupperware product I buy! The product line sucks!! You cannot pour using this pitcher without one hand holding the darn spout open it DOES NOT stay open at all. Making this a worthless pitcher. So if you purchased this to use as a PITCHER should skip buying this! If you just want a vessel to hold water it’s fine. To use as a pitcher you have to use both hands one to hold the dam lid open and the other to pour, unacceptable in my eyes, useless!!! So to use the dam pitcher I have to unscrew the lid and then pour! 100% unsatisfied with this pitcher its jist really a vessel to hold water and a pain in the A** to use as a pitcher!!- Sad to see Tupperware is such a lousy product nowadays!! Will go ahead and find one from a offshore vendor that really functions as a pitcher!! Lousy product!!! DO NOT BUY!! if you want a pitcher! Buy only if you want just a vessel to hold liquids and have to actually remove the lid to pour with one hand or two hands have to be used to try to pour with this crappy pitcher! The lid does not snap into place to hold the lid open to even pour with this crappy pitcher. Shame on you Tupperware for this crappy product you call a pitcher!!! My other Tupperware was wonderful and lasted almost 15 years and when you opened the pourable lid it snapped onto place and held open so you could pour like most normal pitcher's,,, surely NOT THIS ONE!’
