OXO Tot Baby Blocks Freezer Storage Containers 4oz- New Colors Available

I searched high and low for baby food containers...and I wish I would've purchased these from the very beginning. I initially bought some containers that would only hold 2 oz. of food thinking my young infant does not eat that much...well within a month or two, he needed more food...so I ended up buying another set of 3 oz....well guess what? Those ended up to be too small. My advice is to go with these larger containers from the get-go...because eventually you will need something this size (you just don't have to fill it up at the beginning). Great quality, sturdy, looks great, and each set comes in a tray (stays put on my freezer shelves). Unlike other containers that cracks easily when frozen, these held up just fine. I take them straight out of the freezer and into the microwave without any problems. I've tried some other ones where the lids pop open while in the freezer or sometimes the plastic gets warped or stained...these still look brand new after using them for a month straight. There are very few containers that would hold 4 oz. of food but these are the perfect size because I even put his crunchy snacks in them and it's the perfect portion. Since they do not look like typical baby food containers, I plan on using these for myself for condiments, salad dressing, or side toppings when I bring my own lunch to work. I love these containers so much I bought 5 packs (I usually make a large batch of food at one time). They are not the cheapest containers out there but at least you would only have to buy these once (unlike me! I wasted so much money on the previous ones!) UPDATE (2015): I bought five packs of these containers 3 years ago....and they are still going strong! I still use these DAILY for my son!! I make a big batch of pasta (like Mac 'N cheese) and freeze them. The 4 oz is the perfect portion as I add other sides to his meal. I now have an infant and plan to use them for her baby food in a few weeks. Now, I do have to say two of the lids did crack when I dropped them on the floor as I was taking them out of the freezer (that's pretty good 2 out of 20!) I do believe most hardened plastic will crack when dropped. Also, a few did stain after I microwaved red pasta sauce in them. I find that if you wash them right away, it's less likely to stain. I have also used these with my salad dressing and other liquids and NO LEAKS!!! Despite a couple of cracks and stains, I am still very impressed with the quality of these as I have been using them for 3 YEARS straight! I am still a fan!!!!

The OXO Tot Baby Blocks Freezer Storage Containers are wonderfully simple way to store, freeze and reheat baby food. I have used the OXO Tot baby blocks a few times now, they have gone through the entire process of freezing and reheating and it's my go to product!! I have a few other products for storing and freezing baby food and I have to say this is my favorite one. It's so simple to to use you just fill the container with food, secure the top to the bottom container, push it down to it clicks (you can hear the 'click') and that's it!! The system comes with a tray that neatly keeps all your 'blocks' organized and together in your freezer. Easy clean up as well, for 1 block it comes apart in 3 separate pieces. There's the bottom part (where food goes), then the lid, the lid comes apart into 2 pieces. The green 'ring' and the plastic part on top fits securely inside the green ring. This a great feature of the product because it creates a air tight seal and makes for easy cleaning.. Also dishwasher safe!! (note: I would only put on top rack of dishwasher) BPA FREE!!! One of the main reasons I love this product is... it keeps the food so fresh, when I get one of the blocks out of the freezer to feed my daughter and pop the top off there very few ice crystals on-top the food, and it's NOT discolored or anything. I just pop it in the microwave on defrost and when warm enough feed her right out of the OXO container. No extra dishes to wash! :) I have never had any of my containers leak or stain from the food. There is never a plastic smell that lingers from the food as well. The OXO creates a VERY tight seal, that's why it keeps so fresh in the freezer for months! I have to say if you looking into making your own baby food this is one of the best investments you can make.. They are not expensive and can be used over and over, even when your child is out of eating baby food!

We purchased these OXO Tot Baby Blocks Freezer Storage Containers (4 ounces, set of 4 clear) from Amazon.com and are thoroughly pleased with the purchase, price, delivery and also with the containers themselves. OXO has made really high quality, food grade, safe and well designed containers. The separate lid and clasp mechanism made it very easy to keep the food sealed shut airtight and the containers are so easy to wash. We store baby food my wife makes for our 9 month old and it keeps extremely well, doesn't stain the inside and so far every time we use it to thaw out or microwave the food in, the containers have performed outstandingly. We love the purchase and will not hesitate to buy these anytime we need more. We bought the 4 ounce size as it was not too big and not too small for the portions we wished to serve at each meal to our infant. Clearly deserving of all 5 stars in our book. We've only ever hand washed them, but I am sure they'll hold up as well in the dishwasher.

These blocks are great. They server their purpose well for storing baby food. I could actually see them being use for other purposes as well like for portion size control or for other household items, if needed once you no longer need them for baby food. Anyway, the larger containers are better than the small ones because you can freeze and then thaw and have a couple of days or more of food available. They are better then an ice cube tray becuase it is more organized and neater. I have used the trays as well and that takes some cleaning and extra work because you have to pour from the blender (without making a mess) and then you have to go back to pop out the cubes and then store in storage bags. The OXO containers are so simple and easy to use because you just put in the food and snap on the lid and put in the freezer. They are easy to clean as well. I may purchase more since I make all of baby's food. The only thing I wish they had thought of was some type of way to write what is stored. I have been using masking tape so I will know what's what inside the container. Highly recommend.

I bought these for snacks for nursery and they are just the right size to put in a yoghurt, some bluberries, some Babybel cheese, some dry cereal, or some small carrot or cucumber sticks - and lots more! At the same time, I bought the Zoo bumble bee lunch bag and they are the perfect size to fit in there too and they stack really nicely if I use a few at a time. Good quality and durable. Would definitely recommend.

I loved these containers. They're the perfect storage containers for baby food and can be used for so many other things as well. They're easy to use, easy to open, easy to wash, easy to heat. They're completely spill proof too - I've even carried sterilised water in them and they preserved every drop. I love these so much that I got the 6 tub 2oz versions too.
