These work well, but it didn't create the perfect crimp right away, you gotta really make sure it's crimped by crimping it really hard, then heat shrink it for the best hold. I didn't need these for the waterproof heat shrink, but if you use a lighter as I did and be patient you can shrink it down to a decent seal. It did shrink to the 18 gauge wires I was using, but I don't think it would get much smaller. These are nice cheap crimps that work though. If I ever need more I would definitely buy again.

All high quality constructed crimps, but there is variance in actual size among the individual colored crimp sizes, crimp-to-crimp.. Used most of the red one's for my speaker wire project. I was crimping 14 gauge wire to 16 gauge.. Crimps appear larger than industry standard because I should have had to use all blue crimps vs. the red based on the wire gauges I was crimping. I use a professional crimp tool and the blue crimps were definitely too large for stranded 14 and 16 gauge copper speaker wire. Also, there was some degree of variance among the red crimps. Some crimp openings were a tighter wire fit than others, crimp-to-crimp. They shrunk nice and evenly when heated, and remained flexible for repositioning for about 90 seconds after shrinking. - Regardless of what I noted above, I would buy these crimps again and recommend them to others.

As a 30+ year senior electronics technician on test and evaluation of the newest military fixed wing fighter/attack aircraft I can assure you that this product is of a high quality for automotive and marine purposes (for aviation use FAA approved products). Unlike other cheaply made splices, the metal part of this product is of an adequate thickness which allows for a secure crimping of the 12 ga wire or equal combination of smaller gauges. The shrink tubing is thick enough to withstand the force from the crimper, without puncturing the tubing. The tubing has an adequate amount of sealer inside that will properly seal metal from moisture and water; and will slightly protrude the ends when heated and shrunk with a heat gun.

Good quality. The plastic seems thicker and doesn’t ever break or pierce while crimping. Plenty of adhesive and seems to make a great watertight seal. Economical.

The adhesive is not visible out the sides when heated like the 3m ones I am used to using, ensuring a water tight seal.I actually only use these in a pinch as I prefer bare terminals and marine shrink wrap, but it does save a little time

These are wonderful in price. You get a lot more for a great price compared to the parts store.

The heat shrink can be trimmed down if needed, but they worked perfectly to repair a power supply wire that had been damaged. The heat shrink blower worked well with these ESUPPORT insulated links to seal down around the wire insulation just as you'd like them to do. I'm well satisfied with these links.
