No, it doesn’t have beans in the filling.

Q: Are the eyes stitched or plastic?

The eyes are high quality plastic in perfect scale, oval shape, refined edges and recessed for child safety. My first choice was also embroidered however, I can make a case that the subtle light reflection actually gives the eyes more life which offsets the preference for embroidery. All in all, excellent quality & super cute design.
