Lifefactory 16 oz Glass Water Bottle with Active Cap, Cantaloupe

I have been searching for a water bottle that's glass with a wide enough mouth that I could put a shaker ball in it. I've only found a few in glass (I don't get it, glass tastes better, doesn't smell and doesn't have any harmful chemicals to leach into body but try finding a glass shaker bottle there are not many on the market) and have been unhappy with them because either the mouth is not wide enough, the circumference is too big for my hand, the spout drips when you drink from it, the measurements on the bottle are hard to read, it's hard to clean or it breaks easily. FINALLY! This ticks all the boxes - I just threw a small shaker ball in there and it's perfect for my smoothies. I love how the measurements are in both ounces and in ML and easy to read and measure. It's easy to clean, the spout is the best around I don't end up spilling it down my shirt. And it's perfect size for my hand not to big. I also like the handle so you can easily carry. I am glad the top is not glass, because I've had glass tops before and they break and you have to pitch the whole thing. This is sturdy with the glass body and the top is really great. It's a perfect bottle!

Fits nicely into car cup holder. Top a little hard to remove if tightened too tight.

I got this water bottle as a gift for my brother. He is not fond of plastic bottles, and needed something rugged so as not to break! This was a big hit! It is not too big for him to carry around, it has the cover that offers enough cushioning so if he drops it, it doesn’t break. Yes, he tested that, and it held up perfectly. I chose the smaller size for him, it’s lightweight, very portable, he loves that you can close the lid, without a straw poking out! He said it’s easy to carry, the grip is great, it doesn’t leach smells if you want to put juice or ice tea in it! It’s a great design!

My very favorite water bottle, out of the dozens I’ve tried over the years. I love that it doesn’t break when I drop it. I love the handle and that it doesn’t leak. I love the grippy feel of it in my hand. I love that after many times through the dishwasher, it still looks brand new. It doesn’t get scratched or develop worn spots. It’s practically indestructible. And I always get comments on it—it’s cool looking. But most of all, I love that it does not leach metals or nanoplastics like metal and plastic water bottles can. The glass is a little heavier, but it’s well worth the price of not poisoning myself! I also have the 18oz one too, but I’m constantly refilling it, so the 22oz is a better size for me. My only slight beef with it is that I sometimes struggle to get the threads right when screwing the cap on, and it leaks a little if it’s not on right. Maybe it’s just me. But other than that, it’s the perfect water bottle for me.

Very good product, the flip top was replaced for me for free by life factory for opening and not always staying sealed which caused some spills. The new top is much better yet I just noticed when the bottle goes through quick extreme temp changes that top seal loosens a bit. I took out fridge and went outside in high 90's 7 that's when I saw the flip top pucker up a bit.

I bought this for my car, because the 24 oz bottle, from 2013, doesn’t fit. This 16 oz size fits great. Lifefactory has updated the lid since I bought my first bottle in 2013. The spout is larger and made of hard plastic instead of silicon. It also sits weirdly on the bottle. I had to have the lid replaced because it wouldn’t screw on straight (leaked EVERYWHERE). Second lid fits straight, but I still think it’s odd that it has to “click” into position for it not to leak. The older lid just screw on. I also have to be careful when tilting it back to drink. Once I tilt it too far, to fast, and poured water up my nose. Definitely operator error, but still unpleasant. Some pros on the new lid are it’s easier to drink more water, because it flows freely. It should also reduce “water bottle” wrinkles around the mouth, since you don’t need to purse your lips. It’s also easier to clean. The silicone insert for the spout comes out nicely for a good thorough cleaning. Same with the silicone gasket. Overall, these are great bottles and they last a very long time. Highly recommended product for the cost, longevity and environmental factor.

I received this item in March 2026. By the beginning of June, the inner seal of the lidhad broken and began leaking. Anything that I was drinking all over me. I contacted the manufacturer through Amazon to get a replacement seal or lid and after a week I was sent an email saying that I could purchase a new lid for approximately $10. These bottles are supposed to be covered by a warranty for one year if it is a defect. That kind of guarantee is why I trusted this brand for so long, but things have changed apparently.

My mom bought me one of these years ago when I got my first office job because she was worried about the water in the old buildings downtown. I still have it and use it daily and that was almost 10 years ago. My husband had a cheaper brand that broke after a few months so I decided to get him the same one I have even though these are pricier. Definitely worth it for such a good quality product.

My new bottle arrived today, I love these Life factory water bottles, heavy duty, quality glass encased in silicone. Go for quality and you won’t regret your purchase! ❤️ Simple to clean, fill etc, it can go into the dishwasher if you want to and looks cool!

This water bottle lid does not have a seal so it leak all the time . The mouth piece doesn’t close properly either so it leak from there too . Seriously, don’t spend your money on this .
