I read the reviews and saw that many people had issues with the sizes. I am a small person, but used the sizing chart to order (and kind of followed the advice of some people's reviews of ordering a size up). I got a large, which based off the sizing chart seemed like it was the best option for me. It's a little bit big in the armpits, but over my white button down, it fit pretty well. It's wool, so a bit warm for summer time wear, but I wore it to a Harry Potter themed event in a building with NO A/C and a LOT OF PEOPLE and wasn't too warm.

I thought it would feel cheap and thin but this is surprisingly more than what I had expected. It’s thick and heavy.. perfect for the Hogwarts look I was going for. The stitching is symmetrical and the quality is overall good; it isn’t itchy. It also kept me warm! I bought the patch separately and ironed it on. It looks exactly like the sweater they sell at Universal Studios but this saved me so much $$ and is a great hack. Sizing is accurate; I’m 5’3” 118lbs and normally wear small, and the small size fit perfect. Highly recommend this sweater to all wizards & witches!

First of all, A+ to the seller on the quick shipping—all the way from China in less than a week! The vest is very authentic looking and of heavy weight, good quality for the price. I got the red to go with my Hermione Halloween costume. The sizing though! I’m 5’1 and 112 lbs and got the small based on all the reviews stating how small these run. Overall the body of the vest fits well with the arm and neck holes being a bit small while the length is a little longer than I’d like. I can live with those minor issues. The problem is how wide the shoulders are! They extend a good two inches past my shoulders and stick out, which looks really weird. In hindsight I probably would have been better off with the XS. Since exchanging it back to China isn’t an option obviously, I’ll have to make do by keeping my robe on at all times and hope for cool weather! This really would be so nice if it fit properly—I’d say if you’re tall and skinny with broader shoulders then you’ll be very happy with the proportions.

This was the perfect addition to my Hogwarts uniform! For the price point, I feel like it is pretty high quality.

This vest is great for dressing up like a Hogwarts student! It's very thick so it gets pretty warm which is perfect for cold weather! The arm holes are pretty snug so my armpits get sore after wearing all day 😂

I just got this product and I love love LOVE it! I’m gonna use it for my Halloween costume, but I could possibly use it on my day to day. I got an XS and I’m honestly okay with it. The sleeves are a bit short on me but that’s okay. I don’t really get that problem often especially since I’m about 5’2.

Perhaps you are like I was about a week ago, desperately searching for a sweater-vest that would work to cosplay as Harry Potter or another character from the Wizarding World. You could do far worse than this particular item, as it was the closest I could find to an on-screen accurate copy. The color detail on the neck is nice, but slightly inauthentic if you look closely on-screen. However, no one but the most die-hard fans would know this and it doesn't look bad, but rather I think it enhances the costume.HOWEVER...you *really* need to pay attention to the sizing chart. In my desperation to quickly get a costume in time, I failed to notice the sizing photo and therefore did not measure myself in relation to the chart. I'm male, 6'0", around 280 and the largest advertised size (XXL) was very snug on me. It fit, but only just, and if I didn't have my outer wizard robes, I wouldn't have worn it at all due to how tight it was on me. Under the robes, it looked fine though. So, if you're normal weight and average size, I'm sure it will be fine for you, but if you're bigger like me I would advise you to look elsewhere. Minus 1 star for the lack of clarity/false advertising when it comes to sizes, as a U.S. size XXL would have fit me loosely/well.Also, I did not wash the sweater vest (yet) because it was already pilling and I could see through the fabric, showing a weave that isn't very tight. I don't see it lasting very long, unfortunately, so I'm deducting 1 more star for that.For certain people in certain situations, I think this item is probably perfect, but for me it just didn't work out. I think if the seller would draw special attention to the size difference and/or change the nomenclature used, the ratings for this item would be so much better. I plan on keeping the vest for future use, but hope that sometime in the future the seller might offer a larger size so I can more comfortably cosplay in this particular character.

When they say 8 year olds, they mean it. They don't make any of these sweaters for under 8 year olds, so I got it for a 5 year old, washed it and dried it. It shrunk, but not enough. Still I can say it's durable and very nice even after washing.

Bought this for my 11 year old daughter's Halloween costume (Hermione from Harry Potter). Went with an XS and it fit great (she is an adult XS in most brands). Much better quality than I was expecting and the colors will look great as a Gryffindor sweater vest.

Im 5"9 around 75kgs and a d cup, i got a large and it fit really well, i did expect to be bugger for an Large aize though.. Worth the money and arrived pretty quick, Im talking 2weeks to Australia.

The medium fit perfectly for someone 168cm ! Just hope it doesn't shrink too much +

The material is a little scratchy and was bigger than expected but looks pretty nice

Came on time all though i did push it through to two day shipping only because i ordered it a little to close to Halloween. It fits perfectly over my white dress shirt and looks amazing with my costume, really brought it together.
