I needed a Secret Santa gift for a co-worker who wants to learn how to crochet, and, while the shipping speed was reasonable, these weren't going to arrive in time. So I gave her a similar set I had recently purchased and kept these for myself. The packaging was nice. and the box arrived in good shape. Everything was laid out nicely in a thin plastic tray, and to be honest, I had my doubts about it all going into the pouch -- but it did! The cactuses on it are cute, but I doubt it will stay white around me. The hooks are a nice, but basic ergonomic style that can be held in a variety of ways, and it contains 13 different sizes! I love the good amount and variety of the stitch markers and yarn needles, and that they each come in their own little container to keep them corraled in the pouch. I may not use the measuring tape a lot, but when you need one, you NEED one, and it doesn't take up much space, so it's a definite keeper. The scissors are not very robust, and I can see light between the blades because they're slightly bowed out, but they still cut my yarn quite well, plus, they're small enough to fit in the pouch, but still be easy to find. I'm not likely to use the row counter, I would forget to change it and be just as screwed as without. LOL I have been crocheting for 50 years, and I'm very pleased with this set. It has everything I need to drop in my purse or a project bag and be able to crochet almost anything with it.It's almost overkill for a beginner, but it's such a great price, the convenience of getting it all at once can't be beat.

This kit is perfect for what I wanted! Everything fits well in the included bag, and the items included are fantastic. The stitch markers and the needles are perfect and the yarn scissors are extremely sharp. I even like the yarn glide which I’ve never used before now. I’d definitely recommend this for anyone looking to upgrade their crochet game to the next level

I bought two sets and received them very quickly. My son and I took up crocheting and this seems to be the best value set for the money. Since it was affordable enough, I decided that I wanted us to have our own sets so that we aren’t fighting for the hook size we need for our projects. Anyway, I like that you get the whole range of sizes up to 10mm. Everything I looked at either had 2 mm two 6 1/2 mm or I only found 7 mm to 10 mm. It can get expensive buying them individually or in smaller sets so this just made sense. The cute little cactus pouch, not comfortably hold everything. I would say it’s good for all the little tchotchkes that come with the hooks like the needles and markers and what not. I have a larger zipper pouch of my own to hold the crochet hooks. Well, overall I am pleased with the product. It’s great to have wider rubberized handles for comfort and the little pair of scissors is a nice bonus. I don’t really see myself using many of the extra items, but I am still an amateur, and may end up eating my words later. I noticed that the set comes with knitting brooches. Very odd since this is a crochet set not a knitting set. That’s made in China for you! I didn’t give it a perfect five stars because the little cactus pouch should’ve been twice the size. Other than that I think it’s worth getting especially if you’re starting out. Last thing. If you are concerned about the lettering, rubbing off as some reviewer’s mentioned, the opposite side of the handle has the size stamped in the handle.

Love my hooks. Really good quality and durable, very affordable price since at crafting stores they are so much more. All the different sizes I need and more, the color makes them easy to distinguish. The storage was a little small but I also have a lot of materials.

The hooks have soft, silicone handles. They’re easy to hold. Each hook is labeled, making it easy to tell what size it is. They have black print on one side, as well as engraving in the silicone on the other side. I love the colors of the hooks, they are beautiful and vibrant. Everything pictured also fits in the carrying case, which is a plus! You can just toss it in the bag with your yarn and/or work, making it easy to craft anywhere. Overall, I’m satisfied with this set!

I’ve been spending a lot of time crocheting and after awhile often times my hand will start to hurt. It’s also expensive to buy each hook size separately. This is the perfect fix for both of those issues! I love the variety of sizes you get in this pack. Some projects take multiple sizes so I love having the options. The colors are all so bright and pretty just like in the pictures. Because the handles are rubber, it requires less grip to hold them and I find that keeps my hand relaxed. They also are super comfortable with the finger shapes. This also helps make them functional and cause less pain. I find the less grip needed I tend to crochet faster and for longer which are both big pluses in my book! The little bag makes it so easy to use and carry them with me as needed. All of the extras like the rape measure, scissors, and counters fit into the bag. The bag itself is also super cute! These were a Christmas present to myself and I’m so happy I got them!!

As someone who crochets constantly, I bought this kit thinking it would be a handy addition, and it absolutely is! It’s a fantastic little pack with everything you need (and then some). I have to admit, despite the variety of hooks, I always seem to gravitate toward my trusty 6mm. One day I’ll venture into new hook sizes… maybe .... baby steps! The grips are super comfortable, the stitch markers are surprisingly handy, and the case itself is ridiculously cute. It keeps everything neat and makes it easy to take my crochet essentials on the go, even if I only ever use half of them, you can never be too prepared! A great buy for any crochet addict!!

Shipping was quick, hooks are soft and comfortable, and the bag holds everything snug and well. I would suggest getting a bigger bag if you already have crochet things, but the pack it comes with it holds it all perfectly. LOVE it! Would recommend to any beginner or advanced crochet-er. Worth the price!
