Dimensions 'Hydrangeas and Sea Shells' Counted Cross Stitch Kit, 14 Count White Aida, 11" x 12"

Dimensions kits are always of a high quality and this kit is no different. The chart is clear and easy to follow, and I love that the threads come pre-sorted. I was disappointed in the actual cross stitch conversion of the original Wysocki artwork. It really lacks detail and seems a bit sloppy, which is a bit of a surprise for a Dimensions kit because normally the opposite is true. I'm stitching this for my daughter, who could be described as a cat loving bookworm, so I've decided to use the chart as a guide and add and subtract my own details to make it more suited to her personality. The clarity of the chart makes it easy to do this without becoming confused. We've decided to change some of the book titles to my daughter's favourites and I'm taking some inspiration from the original artwork too and adding in those details as I just can't understand why they are missing! All in all, its still a great kit, and I am still thoroughly enjoying doing it.

Arrived sooner than expected, in excellent condition, exactly as described. Very happy.

As mentioned above a black canvas is including which isn't good for anyone sewing with bad eye sight, people are advised to get a lighter one to see the stitches! Otherwise a good kit, apart from the black canvas.
