Great resource based on a true story
DEFINITELY worth reading. It works - even if one does not have ALS, it still has valuable info.

It works!
I purchased the book for my son who was diagnosed with ALS one year ago. He's been on the Deanna Protocol for about a month. He was very skeptical, but is just beginning to see some results. He had completely lost the use of his right hand and arm and most of the left. He showed me today he can now move all his fingers on his right hand. This is huge for him and the best news I've had in a year. Thank you Dr. Tedone for your relentless work.

The Deanna Protocol gave me confidence.
I was diagnosed with slow-moving ALS less than 2 months ago. Left, essentially, to figure out what to do for myself, I read about The Deanna Protocol. I ordered the book, read it twice and then ordered the supplents outlined in the Deanna Protocol. I am thrilled with the results. The book is simple to read and gave me confidence that I didn't have to give up. Thank you, Dr. Tedone, not only for coming up with the Deanna Protocol but for sharing that knowledge with the rest of us.

Great book BUT…..BEWARE!
The book was very informative and helpful and I was directed to their website and I purchased the powder with all of the products they recommended in it. I thought this would be a lot easier. When I got the project, I read it again to make sure that there was no sugar in it and it said zero sugar And so I took it for three days and I started having a blood sugar crisis. My doctor had my glucose tested, which was normally about 100 or so and it was 186. I reviewed the ingredients again and I saw that the first ingredient was dried pineapple , and I know that this has a huge amount of sugar even though nutritional part of it read ‘zero sugar.’ Very tricky. months later I am still having problems and my doctor suspects that I may be a diabetic now previously I was insulin Resistant, but everything I never had sugar , any except monk fruit, which is not considered sugar at all.I contacted the website people, and I told them that this was outrageous that they were not listing that there was actually quite a bit of sugar in it. I pointed out to them that many people resistant or even diabetic and they said this product can affect them, but guess what they did nothing to change on their website that I can see or on the product himself. This is unconscionable

False Hope
This protocol is way more complicated than you are lead to believe. Plus if you follow up on this family they are going to extreme and expensive measures that are simply not doable or available everywhere. I was disappointed. The vitamins we did purchased on this advice have not helped at all.

That there may be a way to compensate for this genetic disease
I liked how the possible cure for ALS was found by trial and error and biochemical insight. It made me wonder how Stephen Hawking could live with this incurable disease for so long. It would be interesting to know what has happened to Deanna, but I have not been able to find out.
