Bought it for a birthday gift for an artist and he loves it and feels it will be a great asset to his work and appeared very pleased.

We ordered this as a gift for a family friend and they loved it! Comes in an easy to carry case and everything needed is inside the case! Great value for money

This set arrives in a nice looking full colour printed box measuring approx 37.5cm x 30cm x 10.5cm.It would be easy to wrap & make a nice gift for someone who doesn't have a lot of space but would like to try learning to sketch/paint.Inside the box all of the contents are inside the Art box/easel except for the 3 canvas boards & are cushioned top & bottom with polystyrene packaging so everything arrives in decent condition.The easel case is not bad quality although it does look a little cheap.I have had an identical one for years & while they don't look like much, it has withstood travel in a backpack, use in all sorts of environments & it's still going strong.Inside the pull out drawer you get some tubes of Acrylic paint, oil pastel crayons & a 2b pencil - they are all cheap low quality materials but they are enough to get you started & can be replaced over time.I pulled out the plastic moulded base, cut the crayon area out to put in the bottom of the box, same for the tubes of paint section & then had plenty of room left to add a small palette & a few other bits in the drawer.It also comes with a 10cm ruler (didn't know they made them that length), a pencil sharpener & a rubber plus 2 cheap brushes.There is no included paper to use the oil pastels on so if I was giving this to someone I'd add a pad of heavierweight paper suitable for use with those.These sets never do seem to come with decent paints but these little easels are brilliant because they are so portable, easy to store away (you can even pop it on a bookshelf like a book if you have one tall enough for magazines) & keeps art materials with it so it's always ready to go without an endless search for where you put the pastels etc...I have full sized easels but still find these useful for smaller work or tabletop art with kids.

I love this because you can sit at the table and do something if you don’t wanna go into your room and paint tickets for every age from kids to adults and has loads of different types of its just perfect and it’s really worth the money it’s the best gift that I’ve ever gotten. I picked it out myself obviously and I met somebody else pay for it.

A lovely kit suitable for all levels. To set it up, the top lifts up to form the painting platform with a central wooden lever that holds it in place via a set of four notches on the base. These give the user four levels to work at or even five if working flat.The paints and crayons are in a covered drawer that makes up the second half of the easel and is locked by means of small clips on each side to allow for easy carrying without anything inadvertently falling out.The canvases that come with it are of decent quality, though there is no means of placing them anywhere within the box unfortunately. Moreover, the easel does not have any means by which to comfortably hold larger canvases, so it is limited in that way. When finished, the painting platform locks into place with another clip.This easel is small enough to be placed on one's lap, so it is a very convenient size and the handle on one side allows for easy carrying. It is small enough to be easily carried around and even taken on travels, so now you can paint those landscapes, not just photograph them!

The media could not be loaded. My son was really pleased with this easel case - it’s decent quality with latches to secure the easel top and the storage area for supplies. The easel can be secured at multiple angles and has a fold down rest for a canvas/pad etc. It’s a great size for travel, garden use or homes where space is an issue. It’s very sturdy with a good handle, our only criticism of the case would be it needs some sanding where the stand slots into the top. It comes with a basic selection of paint tubes and pastels. The colour selection is too limited and the paint tubes are totally lacking in purples but contains a phthalo green. It would make more sense to have a bigger selection of paint tubes and leave out pastels, however we did feel it’s worth the £30.99 for the case alone. This will get lots of use in our garden alone.
