Absolutely love love love this book ( and the others by this author). I’m not a strict keto follower and this book is perfect for me! Lots of interesting recipes and easy to make!

Real food for real people!
It sounds so overly dramatic to say that DLK Saved my life, but it’s true! My health was deteriorating drastically I had gotten so heavy. I cashed out my pension, and paid for weight loss surgery myself. After a year preparation, I finally went into surgery. But, when I woke up the surgeon told me he had to abort the surgery halfway through because my liver was too large. So now $90,000 in the hole, and healing from my wasted surgery... I was totally devastated. Then I found Stephanie and her DLK books. Starting from the very first page of her first book, I knew I found a lifeline. It’s been 7 months and I’m down 66 lbs. I am starting to live again. This newest book is full of fast low carb meals that you can fix in a hurry, and are so easy to make. One of my favorite parts is her “handy-dandy icons” in the index and also on the top of every recipe page. It makes it so easy to choose to make based on what I am looking for that day. These are real meals for real people. Real food from my own grocery store! No MCT this, collagen powder that... No ordering $25 boxes of crackers, or $12 loaves of bread... this is a healthy lifestyle for life! You only have to follow the general guidelines A few days for the benefits to kick in.. No hunger, NO cravings for sweets ... NO desperation .. NO More thinking about the foods you can’t have, all day, everyday! Now, I go hours without thinking of food. I am able to walk further, tie my shoes, work in my yard, play with my kitty, and dream about the possibilities of living again! I deserve that, and Stephanie’s book showed me the way. Forever DLK! Watch out world here I come!

Enjoyable book
Like the waffle recipes I got from the books. Surprised at how filling the food really is and how easy to make.

Stephanie had me at 100 recipes - 10 carbs or less
This book is well written and funny as well as upbeat and positive - written with her sense of humor. Not every recipe has a picture, really not needed but! the ones that do are beautiful and mouthwatering. Stephanie starts this book by giving suggestions to you to get organized in your kitchen to cook meals in 30 minutes or less. She is so down to earth and is not shy in telling you how to pinch pennies and cut cooking corners to save time to get back to fun stuff (so needed during Covid 19, right?) My goal is to make every recipe in this book. Starting with the happy hour cocktails...just kidding.If you are new to Keto or struggling with Keto - take Stephanie's approach in DLK (Dirty Lazy Keto). Simply count carbs 20-50 a day. Eat a protein, above ground veggies and a fat with your veggies every meal. Stay away from pre boxed and packaged food. The best way? Make it at home - the Stephanie way - cheaper and better. I made the Nimble Nachos for Super Bowl page 100 in her book. If you like quantity but not a lot carbs...(3 for this one) make this!

Yum!
I just got my book today! And as I've come to expect from the books in the DLK series, it looks great! I'm not normally a person who writes reviews, but this series is different! I was leary of dirty or lazy keto when I first read about it. However, strict clean keto was too strict for me. I've found a balance in Stephanie Lasko's approach that works for me. It's a bit of a mix between the two approaches, so it feels very freeing!In terms of the book contents, there's a good mix of things, and it's all quick! I'm looking forward to trying the French toast sticks (made from cinnamon flavored chaffles) in the morning! And the Rapid Fire Chili Rellanos will be dinner tomorrow! I love that the book gives ways to make meal prep (and the dreaded clean up) simple. And even my non-keto husband is loving this way of eating!I'll update in a few days! But for now I'm trying hard not to get drool on the book! It looks THAT good!

new ideas, overly complicated at times
I bought this cookbook to look for new ideas to add variation to my meals. I like the dirty keto concept, as I don't have time or inclination to do all the tracking and so forth required for strict keto. This cookbook has some interesting ideas in it, but many of the recipes are more complicated than they need to be. Still, it's a good jumping off point to glean ideas and modify for my own tastes.

I hate cooking but I LOVE this cookbook!
I have never enjoyed cooking and have always gone out of my way not to. If you're like me and always looking for shortcuts in the kitchen, this is the cookbook for you! When I see short ingredient lists like many of the ones in this book, I get excited. Even more so when the prep AND cook time is less than half an hour--which many of the recipes are. I had a lot of the required ingredients in my house already so I made the Prompt Protein Pancakes recipe just now--easy and delicious! I'm actually looking forward to making other recipes (Shortcut Cinnamon Toast Sticks, Go Go Grilled Cheese and Rapid-Fire Chili Rellenos, to name a few). I love all the prep tips and excuse busters in the beginning of the book, too (I will use any excuse not to cook and the busters pretty much deflated those). I recommend this book for low carb/keto fans (10g net carbs or less per recipe!) or any budding chef who isn't looking to get too fancy...like me.

Fantastic book!
You just gotta love this Stephanie girl! (well, lady -she deserves respect with her 140 pound weight loss and not always easy road to beauty, inside and out). She's very generous, funny, realistic and down to earth in sharing her experience and recipes. I love her videos. It makes keto available for everyone. Keto shouldn't be rocket science as she puts it! I have one more book to buy to have the whole "collection".This said, I was very rigid with doing keto, frustrated, unhappy, ready to fall off the wagon.She brought a relief into my keto journey. Simplified it. Got guilt off my back. In this book she shares wonderful fast and easy to understand recipes. Great illustrations! easy to understand, very "visual" book for the info involved. I hope you enjoy as much as I do.

Best tasting recipes!
This book is 100% worth the price! I bought it to help with my high blood sugars, and within 4 days they're back to normal! This book has soo many great recipes! And so far everyone I've tried has been spot on for taste! And what makes it better is all the recipes are fast to make.. Even the dinner ones max 30 mins! Great for busy families like mine.
