I really like the front of this unit as it has steel cross bars with a similarly constructed access gate with a spring that closes the gate and a sturdy latch, which makes the "business side" (i.e., front) of this safety cage WAY safer than a couple chains. I originally bought it to clean the smoke damage on the 20' ceilings and walls of my metal shop building after a fire a couple years ago, but it also great on my tractor for trimming trees, washing the roof/gutters, etc..Kinda pricy, but a GREAT value given the cost of an injury from a possible accident using a chain-front safety cage, or, heaven forbid, just a plain pallet like some rednecks might be prone to do.

Great price, Solid construction. Makes working with a forklift wonderful. Pallets were eventually going to kill somebody, no rails, etc. The back stop was/is a bit wobbly, but it does the job. Big enough for 2 large people.

Ordered this a month ago. One of the round crossmembers was shorter than the others. It's unusable. No nuts for the bolts in the hardware bag. No instructions for assembly. Backstop is flimsy. So much so I didn't put it on. It's everything I came to expect from something made in China. With that said, it is heavy-duty and sans the back stop, seems to be sturdy enough.

I needed to lift my girlfriend up to the 16' ceiling to change lighting in my building. She claimed she could stand on a pallet on the forklift but I wisely bought this so she can't fall off. It's perfect for the job. I like owning it and my girlfriend likes being helpful.

Good value for the price. Straightforward, quick assembly and provides excellent operator safety for forklift or tractor fork use. Has fork retaining pins to lock unit onto forks. Will be delivered via freight too large for UPS/FedEx.Recommend purchasing and using both safety harness and safety lanyard(s) - also available from several vendors on Amazon.Painted a bright "safety yellow" that will hold up in interior use/storage, but don't expect the paint to last/protect against rust under outside storage conditions. China made.

Perfect piece of heavy duty equipment.

The box came damaged and the bottom floor was pretty dented. We beat it back into place and was able to make it work. Some of the screw holes had to be re-tapped to get the screws in. Once we got it all built we are happy with the purchase. The manufacturer or distributor should do more to protect the product during shipping. A pallet that actually was as big as the box would be a good start.
