High Tech Pet BT-3 Bark Terminator 3 Multi-Mode Micro Bark Control Collar

This product worked great for a couple of weeks. I had read the reviews and had my fingers crossed that I would get lucky and receive a "good" collar. I purchased a pack of replacement batteries hoping that would solve the issue but instead I was just throwing more money at a bad product as the batteries were not the issue. Don't waste your money, buy a different collar.

Does the job however the downside to the product is that it literally poked a hole on 2 of my dogs necks, they're lab/pit mix. However for my german shepard, it worked the best, no neck sores or holes and she's learned from the collar. Only had it for less than a month and one stopped working.

Okay, I'm impressed! We have three dogs. A 7-year old Italian Mastiff, a 2-year old Boxer/Shep Mix and a 5-year old, stubborn, full sized (18 lb.) Pomeranian. Well, as you can imagine the chorus of barking can get out of control; led always by the littlest of the bunch. He can't play at the big boys level, so his way of playing is to run at their heels yap, yap, yap yapping, followed by rounds of yapping. When someone is outside, he starts yapping. When "Mom" comes home, he starts yapping. You say, "who's there", he starts yapping. When the dog next door is out, he starts yapping. Basically, he yaps all the time!!! His little dog yappy voice, when he goes off, is like sticking a pencil in to your brain, right through your ear...The other day I was in my home office working and contractors were outside working and talking. He yapped constantly for 3 hours. I had finally had enough. I pulled up Amazon... Looked up bark control collars and read the reviews. Bought the High Tech after pulling up a positive review that started, My Pomeranian... Stop reading right there and bought it.The collar actually arrived the next day when my wife and I were both working from home. Again, the contractors were working and he was yapping. I tore open the box as fast as I could, read the instructions (one negative - they are not as clear as they could be) and fitted the collar on him. One yap, nothing... Two yaps, a warning beep that is quite audible... Third yap, two beeps. Fourth yap, four beeps and a zap. A little yelp and a jump, then he barked again, beep, zap. And then quiet.He did act a little sullen, but he perked up later in the day. But, he did not bark again the rest of the day. That night he started yapping when the neighbor came to our door. Two yaps, a warning tone beep - no shock - and he stopped!Took it off at night, as the instructions said, put it back on in the AM. He hasn't barked once since. Even when I took all three of them for a ride while I ran to the store - he didn't bark at other dogs, people walking by the car, nothing.Right now, this big brother and sister are out playing with the neighbor's dog and he is in my office with me. It is eerily quiet. He does do a very soft woof (not yap) every now and then when he hears something - but the incessant yapping has stopped.As I stated when I started this review, I'm impressed. ONE DAY RESULTS! But now it's quiet enough that I can hear my wife tell me that I should have bought it three years ago.Cannot recommend a product any higher for delivering results as promised. As I said, the only thing negative is the instructions.

This worked really well to teach our dog not to bark at people walking by our backyard. We have used it for a month and even without the collar her barking is minimal, sometimes we put it back on just to reinforce.While the battery lasted a long time, I don't understand why it's not rechargable. Take proprietary batteries and all the batteries for it on Amazon have horrible reviews. It should have a USB recharger where you can charge the unit at night or something.It doesn't seem to have an on off switch, so I take the battery out when dog is in the house. That part is annoying.The collar is very strong, maybe too much so. It would have been better to have the electronic part incorporated into a normal webbing collar.

I received the collar on March 1st and batteries died on May 5th. In my opinion considering the cost of the collar these batteries should last more that 71 days. Overall the collar worked great, after a 3 shocks he learned to stop barking after the beep. I would have given 5 stars had the battery lasted longer. Extremely disappointed.

Not happy at all. Quit working after a few uses. I spent a lot of money on this too. It may be the battery, but to quit working so soon is ridiculous. Not recommending to anyone. The batteries are expensive.

I will give this collar two stars because it did function correctly for about a year but it no longer works. And as a major forewarning, this collar will NOT train your dog out of barking. My dog would still bark any time the collar was not on. And after a while he learned to space his barking out to basically trick the collar. So it’ll “train” your dog. But it won’t be to not bark, it’ll be to bark in a specific way that avoids the collar going off. I only needed this collar for mornings because I have a later schedule and he would bark without stop in the mornings so that sleep was just not possible. As I’ve said, the collar, when on, functioned as described for about a year, which I think is the length of their warranty. But I didn’t even have it on him 24/7. I would say it was only used for a few hours a day. For the price, it’s not something I would purchase again and I definitely would not recommend it. I hope this helps anyone searching for a bark collar. I wish you luck. I am back to searching and a lack of sleep till I find another.

El collar funciona! De hecho a veces con solo enseñárselo a mis perros (jack Russell), bajan las orejitas y dejan de ladrar del miedo que le tienen :(Lo único malo es que en mi caso la pila duró poco y están bastante caras las de repuesto... pero en un ataque de ladridos ya me anime y las compré.

Se acaba muy rápido la pila, realmente no le quito los animos de ladrar

After trying different bark control collars, this one really works!!!I bought a couple of these for my two belgian shepherd. Incredible results!!I definitely recommend it.
