Tacticon Picatinny .83" Riser

I really wanted to like this riser. I like the design, the weight, size, and it’s the perfect height for mini red-dots. Unfortunately the mounting system either needs work or I got a bad one. If you look at the picture, there is a small clockwise cant to the riser from the top of the receiver. I tried mounting it three different times on two different firearms. I’m not a picky guy. I don’t need perfection, but this can actually affect performance so I have to return it. I’m hoping it’s just a fluke and the replacement is good. I’ll update this review and rating if that’s the case.Update: I got another one in that has the same issue. In fact I think the second one was worse. I will be returning this for a full refund.

I have lots of Tacticon stuff from red dots to body armor. The products are great and at a good price. The warranty has been 100% legit! I have broke some stuff and they ask for pics or videos and so far replaced 100% of my failed items. Lets face it all our toys are made in China. Tacticon will replace what breaks! They are GTG! Take it from a retired Marine, if they weren't worth buying from I would not say so. Gunny M. approved !

I ordered this riser right before New Years and it arrived earlier than expected. To my surprise, there was an hand written letter from the owner thanking me for my purchase. As combat veteran, I try to buy from fellow veterans when I can, and I very much appreciate a business owner reaching out to clients to thank them for their purchases. The riser looks very well made and will be going on a AR. I will follow up once I get some rounds down range and see how it holds up.

Was looking for a riser to keep a Bull Dot on my Mossberg and still be able to sight down the barrel. This was perfect for my recreational needs at my range. I can see right under the riser to be able to sight a target and still shoot from the hip with the bull dot...

I absolutely love these Tacticon risers. I paired them with Tacticon 45 degree offset backup flip sights. Made it perfect for my sight line.. I had a question and got to talk to their customer service and every one I spoke to was amazing. I look forward to equipping rifle with more Tacticon set up

I used this specifically because underneath the rail section is see through. I have my Mossberg 590 set up with a rail and sit msr green dot . If my dot ever fails for some reason I can always look through the rail and see the bead perfectly. I highly recommend this product for this veteran company, thank you for your service !!

This is exactly what I was looking for. I am very pleased with a product because:1) Quality of materials. The material is great and it does not feel cheap in any way.2) Quality of make. The precision and accuracy with which this riser is made is great! Very clean cut and most important excellent fit.3) Slanted design.Overall, it is 5 out of 5.

Sturdy, works, doesn't move and strong. Guy could always use a dab of blue locktite if using it on a heavy recoil unit, but that's all of em. Doesn't seem to loosen though, so all good. GOOD SELLER too! Delivery was plenty fast for me and well packed.
