How do you remove the black cap that comes on the top of the gas lift pole?

I had to use a sharp knife and cut to make a split to make it easier to remove. Of course if you don't the seat mechanism won't work. In transit this is to prevent the seat post from activating.

Can the wheels be locked?

No they can't, there isn't any attachments on the wheels

I can pull the chair high but can’t push it low it’s stuck

Hi, I assume that your sitting on the chair when you try to lower it? If this is the case then the chair is faulty. I've just tried my chair and you definitely have to be seated. I tried it by standing over it and pushing down whilst operating the lever/paddle arm, it didn't budge! Yes, you definitely have to be seated. Hope this helps👍

What kind of pink is it? I see a darker cerise pink in someones photo bit the item photo is pastel pink

This is a small stool, but very sturdy

I tore my calf muscle and 9 days on I still cant walk. I use my desk chair but its too wide for doorways so I bought this. I can get into the kitchen and small bathroom without walking. It is height adjustable so I can set it high and do the dishes. I find down on the lowest setting is easiest for getting about my flat.

Great little seat

I bought this to help me get around the kitchen while having a plaster cast on my leg. It's a great little seat. Easy to assemble, comfortable, and good quality. As other reviews have mentioned the cover on the wheel unit rattles when moving around but not a major problem for me.
