SmallHD Screen Protector for Indie 7, 702 Touch and Cine 7 Monitors (UltraClear)

What with the price of the Cine 7 monitor you DO NOT want to be scratching that screen. This does the job and saves you crying in a corner if you now scratch the screen.

For the few that may be looking, this screen protector fits the new(ish) RED 7” touchscreen monitor that is co-made by SmallHD. It’s weird they don’t advertise this for such an expensive monitor, but it is the exact same dimensions as the Indie and Cine 7 monitors. Super happy with this purchase and to be able to protect such an expensive monitor!

Only comes with one protector and no cleaners/wipes. I also found it’s basically impossible to put on cleanly with zero bubbles or dust specs that make it really bad to look at. Like others have said don’t waste your $39.

Fits perfectly and protects the monitor!

My first attempt, one single tiny piece of dust floated under and caused a buble. I did my very best to clean the screen with a lense cleaning kit, blew dust off etc but a tiny peice of dust still got in. Once i removed the screen protector to try again it was all over. I guess I have a dusty office, I could maybe have done more, i dont know. You may want to buy a few of these in case you screw it up like I did. But seems like you need a clean room like the one they build intel chips in or something to pull this off. Other than that, looks like it was going to be great. When I put it on I could tell it would be a great screen protector. The downside is trying to apply it right as you pretty much only get one try.

I ordered this because it was tempered glass and seemed of high quality. it only came with one, which most phone ones come with 2-3. I actually had to return one because it just didn't fit! it had bubbles on a couple of sides and wasn't what i expected. i got another one and, while it fits better, one corner will not lay flat and it has a big bubble on the edge. At this point, i'm not sure what to do. it's the only one that appears to be tempered glass. I really wish I could love it, but it's simply too large to fit in the space for the screen. i'm going to assume it's a "perfect fit", but there is no way (i repositioned it 4-5 times) for anyone to actually get it perfect. It's just too hards, but it seems like a nice product! i now have it with a huge gap in the lower left corner and i'm just going to leave it. it's bad, but i'd rather not have to return a second one and leave the $2500 screen completely unprotected. It's a lose-lose proposition. Unfortunate, because I really love SmallHD products.

I've bought multiple of these. All of them have not applied cleanly. There's always tiny air bubbles. They've all cracked within like 3 months of use. Not really suitable for a real production environment. I wonder if a plastic screen protector would be better than these expensive glass protectors.

Only comes with 1 screen protector. No instructions or wipes. It does come with a lens cloth but it was absolutely ruined after i tried to get a hair off the back. It was so easily smudged, it became unusable. For $40 i expected way better.
