AmazonBasics Refillable Fountain Pen With 2 Ink Cartridges & Box - Fine Point, Black Ink

It's a scratchy pen which makes the sketching feel more wholesome. The reverse side of the nib allows for a pretty fine line (almost extra fine). The regular side of the nib works more like a 0.6, not very fine but again if you're illustrating, its great for filling space. Regarding the body, it feels great. It's metallic, its a rich black and it's heavy. It's nicely thickened right above the chrome grip, which makes for an ideal gripping point. I had mixed feelings regarding the chrome parts( I'm an all black fan, plus I thought the chrome parts might reflect too much light and hurt my eyes) but once it arrived, I realized that it just goes. Handsome would a good word to describe it. If you write slow, this fine nib will be ideal for you. If you're all about speed and efficiency, go for the medium nib. The only 2 downsides to it are that - -it doesnt come with an ink converter. You get 3 cartridges in total -it's a bit of an ink guzzler. But that's fine honestly, ink pens are meant to be refilled. End verdict- absolute bang for the buck. You get way more than you've paid for in terms of a pen and packaging (it's a damn sturdy magnetic snap shut type of box). A very premium experience for a low price. Can see myself building a long relationship with it.

Similar to other Amazonbasics products this is also a cheap, value for money product. The build quality is fantastic and the design from a bit far will be mistaken for a Sheaffers White Dot (I own both and I strongly suspect that's where the design was 'picked' from, the AB is tapered at both ends which the WD isn't). While the description says 'Fine' and this is also seen on the nib, this is a solid medium. So that is one point to consider. The pen comes with three AB cartridges (which run out extra fast) and are okay but I purchased the Schmidt converter and that fits beautifully allowing you to use your other inks. I'm surprised at how good the pen writes and though certain bits tell you that this is indeed a cheap pen, the balance and the ink flow makes it stand out. I own a variety of pens from Saeffers, Lamys, Pilots and Parkers and I'll put this above the Parker every single time. Four star because the screw bottom is a tiny bit loose and the nib isn't Fine though it says so.

This note will only add to the thousands of very positive reviews that the Amazon Basics fountain pen deservedly acquires. For INR ₹500, this pen is a steal. The quality of manufacture and finish are flawless, and the nib, in this case Fine, was exactly as described by many others: smooth. The metal pen has a good heft without being too heavy and can be used for long writing sessions. In fact, after buying two of these in Fine nibs, I bought two more but in the Medium nib option. Fine or Medium, both are equally smooth and equally delightful to use. And have far more value than their asking price.

I did not have any expectations from this pen but I was very surprised by the way it writes and feels. For about Rs. 400 its a very simple pen without any fancy designs or markings. The nib again is not too wide or small. There is a substantial weight to the pen and the way the pen closes reminds me of much more premium pens. I'd be curious to how it holds the test of time. It writes very smoothly, I would put the width of the nib as medium and not fine. The refills are a bit small but that's not a big deal if you plan to use your own refillable cartridge and ink. Also the nib is a bit lopsided on further inspection but it doesn't affect the writing at all. Overall I would recommend it to any collector or a worthy alternative to a Parker for a beginner.

The Pen is genuinely nice at a very affordable price and Nib is also incredibly good. The only problem that I am facing is that the grip is very slippery and it's not giving a skillful writing experience. If something can be done with the grip, this will be exceptionally good.

Its really a very good fountain pen ..using it since last 8-10 days....no any issues....ink flow superb... 1. nib quality with fine tip -its good . No scratching at all. Literally glides on paper.. 2.Built quality- medium 3. Overall pen size - medium...no issues for students or person with smaller hands 4. Built Material- poor..not for rough n tough use 5. Value for money- pricing on a bit higher side 6. Weight- light weight (i personallydon'tlike light weight pens) 7. Looks- good

I ordered the Amazon Basics fountain pen in fine nib. It was delivered to me within hours. Box was nicely packed. Pen is made in China. The build quality, finish and looks are quite good. The nib is butter smooth with slight feed back. It is the second smoothest nib I own after Lamy 2000 which is quite an expensive pen. Pros- 1. Good looks, decent fit and finish 2. Nib is super smooth. I wasn’t expecting it to be that smooth. Minimal feedback Cons - 1. It’s made in China 2. Nib is fine but it’s quite broad for a fine pen. If I have to compare, it’s broader than Schmidt Fine. 3. It came with 3 cartridges and no converter. I would have loved if Amazon have converter with it All in all good everyday pen.

I was a bit apprehensive when I placed the order. All the reviews on internet speak good of this pen. However, my doubts vanished the moment I wrote with it. The build quality is excellent. The nib is devoid of any designs and has only F marked on it, indicating a Fine nib. It is more of a European Fine. I assume it'll be around 0.3mm to 0.4mm. The clip has Amazon Basics engraved on it without which this pen could easily have been mistaken for a much more expensive pen. I use a Lamy Safari which costs 7 times this pen and writes almost the same. No converter is included in the package. There are three cartridges present and I'll have to refill them using a syringe. They are small in size and will need frequent refilling. I tried with the converters I have with me. Parker and Jinhao converters weren't fitting properly. I'll have to look for some other converters. And another thing, I am going to get more of these pens for my different inks!

Absolutely amazing! High quility and writing and uses universal cartridges. Doesn't come with a converter but a universal one should fit

Da sempre la penna stilografica è segno di eleganza e stile e questa stilografica marchio AmazonBasics, è realmente una bella penna con un design accattivante e curato ed è realizzata con materiali di buona qualità. È arrivata dentro una scatola in cartone, ben alloggiata all'interno di un cofanetto nero (18 x 6,5 x 4 cm circa), robusto e solido, insieme a 3 cartucce di cui 2 sono sistemate nel loro spazio all'interno del cofanetto e una si trova all'interno della penna stilografica ma è libera, non inserita sul relativo nipplo . La penna ha un design semplice ma elegante e piacevole, è di colore nero con finiture cromate, è leggera (pesa 32 grammi, cartuccia compresa), ha un cappuccio protettivo che ben si incastra sia sul pennino che sull'estremità opposta (così non c'è il rischio di perderlo), ed è dotato di un comodo fermaglio in metallo. Metto in evidenza, come suscritto, che il cappuccio non si avvita sulla penna ma bisogna premerlo fin a sentire il click di conferma dell'avvenuta chiusura a incastro. Faccio notare che la penna stilografica, sia con che senza cappuccio protettivo, è ben equilibrata, si impugna abbastanza bene e non stanca la mano. Ha un pennino in acciaio con punta fine e, quando il cappuccio protettivo è inserito su di esso, la lunghezza della penna stilografica è circa 13,8 cm ... le giuste dimensioni per poterla inserire in un taschino della giacca o in una elegante agenda oppure metterla in borsa. È caratterizzata dal tipico sistema di caricamento della cartuccia, ossia bisogna premere la cartuccia sul nipplo del gruppo pennino affinchè questo fori il diaframma in plastica della cartuccia per lasciare fluire l'inchiostro e poter scrivere ... attenzione, bisogna premere la cartuccia sul nipplo delicatamente ma con una certa forza PRIMA di avvitare il fusto perchè, a differenza di altre stilografiche, durante il riavvitamento del fusto la cartuccia non viene premuta e incastrata. L'inchiostro delle cartucce è nero intenso e la scrittura è continua, fluida, scorrevole, non sbava e non trapassa la carta ... anche se sinceramente devo mettere in evidenza che per coloro che non sono abituati a scrivere con una penna stilografica occorre un po' di pazienza e di pratica. Assegno 4 stelle perchè non sono riuscito a trovare la garanzia della penna stilografica (requisito importante per ogni articolo acquistato soprattutto on line) e non conosco a tutt'oggi (fine Ottobre 2019) il prezzo della penna stilografica ... spero che presto possa conoscere la garanzia e il prezzo per modificare le stelle assegnate.

Il a vraiment une belle écriture, et un débit d'encre équilibré ! Il est léger et agréable à utiliser, facile à recharger, et vraiment joli. Ça peut faire un beau cadeau !

Er liegt gut in der Hand und hat auch ein schönes Gewicht. Nicht zu leicht und nicht zu schwer. Ganz schlicht gehalten. Ich habe schon ewig nicht mehr mit einen Füller geschrieben und es schon was anderes wie als mit einen Kuli. Noch ist er nicht oben ausgelaufen, was ich bei der guten Qualität gerade bezweifle. Ich muss schauen ob da auch die ganz normalen Patronen rein passen. Da ich die zwei die dabei sind als etwas länger empfinde. Kann auch eine Täuschung meinerseits sein.

En líneas generales está mejor de lo que esperaba por el precio, es de buena calidad y desliza bastante bien, se agradece además que venga con recambios. Nos viene en una caja de cartón lisa bastante simple, dentro tenemos directamente el estuche, que es de cartón pintado de negro con dentro terciopelo, da bastante el pego, aunque se nota que es de un producto económico. La pluma sin embargo está mucho mejor acabada, tenemos zonas de metal y se nota resistente, aunque al tener tanto metal es algo pesada. Para cambiar los recambios simplemente quitamos la parte inferior y tiramos de ella, se pueden encontrar recambios en amazon a buen precio. El trazo que tiene es bueno y la tinta sale poco a poco de forma uniforme con un fujo perfecto, suficiente para escribir, pero no demasiado como para manchar o que tarde mucho en secarse. En línea generales por el precio me parece un producto perfecto y que cumple lo que anuncia.
