This is the best hair clip I've ever used. I have extremely fine, shoulder-length hair, and I can wrap it in a bun and use this clip to secure the bun. The clip holds my hair in place firmly all day, it doesn't slip out of my hair, and the flat design prevents my head from hitting my driver's seat head cushion. The clip is made of very high quality material in a pretty, dark tortoise shell color. I've struggled to find a hair clip that holds my hair securely in place, and this Parcelona clip has solved the problem.

I’d had a similar type of hair clip in the past that had trouble grasping the hair on the open side of the claw. I took a chance on this brand because of the reviews. I’m glad that I did. I have semi-thick curly wavy hair. This clip holds a large section firmly for a half up style. I haven’t tried to grab it all for a complete updo yet. The way it lays flat without the depth that the wings add on usual claw clip is appreciated. The slim profile will be nice especially for long rides as a passenger in a car or on a plane. Of course it’s why they’re favorites for yoga classes etc. It’s a classy looking clip, levels above the common claw clip with their metal spring elements showing. I would buy again. But I expect I won’t have to replace this one for a long time as this one seems very well made.

Wonderful clip. I wanted an easy way to throw my hair up for work that would look more dressed-up than a pony tail. I also wanted to avoid the dated 90s hair clip look. I felt this was a little expensive but with good reviews I decided to buy. I love it! I have very thin hair so it is difficult for me to find something that holds secure. I can double my hair up and clip this in just fine. It does not pull or pinch but holds perfectly and looks so nice with the most minimal effort. Also being a bit darker brown you can pull it off with brown or black outfits. If you’re on the fence, it’s definitely worth it!

I have thin curly hair, shoulder length. Holds okay for a few hours, but definitely slips. I got this because I was hoping for a clip that would be more comfortable on the back of my head for driving. It does that well, but not for very long. If you're okay readjusting your hair every now and then, or if you have thicker hair, I'd recommend it. I did accidentally send this through the washing machine today and was surprised to find it completely undamaged. Bonus points for durability, but not as great as other clips at maintaining a secure hold.

I purchased the Parcelona French Simply Bear Paw Tortoise Shell Celluloid Medium Side Slide In Jaw Yoga Hair clip. It's hard to find a clip with this side-slide design and also such great durability. I have long thick hair, and this clip holds it perfectly. Highly recommended.
