Would this be strong enough to protect from rabbits? They chew through things very quickly.

Hi, how do you fit the end sheaths? i tried to get it over a usb cable but it just won't go on. the ends are really fraying without the sheath

Didn't fit the end sheaths to cables, but just tried to get cable protection on as close to the plugs and appliances etc to ensure pets couldn't chew wires. Used this for lamps, TV etc. Is likely to fray a little but as our cables not being moved a lot it did the job until kitten was less likely to chew through connections

Can this be used outdoors to protect a car charging cable from mice etc...

I think so but bear in mind the cable is split and so may still allow a little access

Yes, this was excellent and used it for the same purpose - only it's a teething kitten we have that had already chewed through 2 phone chargers (luckily they were not plugged in) and a bt phone line...Also used it to protect the kitten and our table lamps and standard lamp. We did use a stronger thicker cable tidy though at the back of the TV to link cables tidy and also give added protection.
