Poor packaging, arrived broken
I was really excited to receive my basket but majorly disappointed when I opened the box and saw how poorly packaged it was. These baskets are delicate and I would expect the manufacturer to give them the best chance for surviving the trip. I received a basket with cracks all around, bummer.

Decent starter set but missing a few things
I bought this set along with another one that included a bread lame and a metal bench scrapper. Having the two sets is necessary for me as I always bake two loaves at a time. The individual pieces work great but would be missing a few things if you only bought this one set. The basket and provided fabric liner work well but I wouldn't proof dough in the basket without the liner (there are holes and splinters in the basket - I don't trust the dough not to stick or get splinters in it). The fabric liner is also starting to rip in the middle. Not sure if cleaning instructions were provided for the fabric but that would've been useful.

Tasty bread with the help of this basket!
After several months of using various bowls and my countertop to try to contain my sourdough loaves, I finally got this banneton to use instead. It’s pretty lightweight but sturdy, and the included cloth liner is easy to clean and quick to dry. It definitely is easier to use than a bowl/towel since the liner fits perfectly!

Lots of splinters
This bowl was a lot lighter than I imagined. Not sure how I feel about that but the biggest thing is there are tons of splinters throughout it.

It makes my loaves look great!
Works as expected. I like that it also come with a pastry cutter and a cover - 9 inches is on the smaller side but perfect for me who prefers to make smaller loaves - my family doesn’t eat a lot of bread! Came quickly, I’m happy with it!

My "starter" proofing basket
I have used this a few times since I purchased it and have turned out some really beautiful loafs of bread.

Came our OUTSTANDING, WE ALL LOVED IT'S PRESENTATION.
First time using a device such as this. Used a little Rice Flower to dust the bowl and put the dough in to rise. Came our OUTSTANDING, WE ALL LOVED IT'S PRESENTATION.

Poor workmanship, exception to rule
The wood coil is poorly joined on the inside surface leaving a ⅛" gap with sharp edges & splinters & visible nail. For comparison, there's a photo of a perfect join on the top rim. I received a refund without question. This is the 3rd banneton I've bought. The other two were 5-☆ products
