Pay the extra money and get a good protec brand helmet or something of that quality even pay extra for a certified safety helmet. I returned this helmet immediately. Bad fit. Spend the $40 plus on a good helmet because your sons brain is worth the small investment. I’ve been skating for 35 years so trust me on this!

I think so.... i use for roller skates and bicycle... i had an a small accident other day with my bicycle....and i survive lol... hope that helps your question
