Perfect scissors for trimming my Shih TZU. It fits nicely in my hand, the tip shape is very safe when you work near ears and eyes, good quality. Great value. I tried it on him and could not believe how easily it cut through the thick hair that this breed has. Highly recommended.

Okay, so I discovered one issue about my new scissors-- the tip does not cut well at all. It looks like there is a small space between the scissors at the last 1/2 inch of the tip. I tried my defected scissors, and that one actually cuts through all the way. Not too much to complain about since I have that one to fall back on, despite my initial disappointment. Either way, great scissors, and excellent service.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I first received this trimmer two days ago, and apparently was sent a defected one. I left a review about it yesterday, and was contacted IMMEDIATELY (wow!). After being contacted, they made good by sending me another one right away. When I mean right away, I mean, I checked my mail this morning and there was a box with "Tiny Trim" in it! I had just e-mailed them yesterday, so Matthew, who I believe is their representative did an amazing job of easing any stress or issues that I had.As far as the scissors go, as soon as I received it, I gave it quick go with my little doggie. I did a small trim around her eyes and under her paws. I just wanted to try it out, and I can't be happier. The serrated edges truly make a difference from any other scissors I've bought for my dog. Yes, it is small, and you might have a difficult time using it if your fingers are the size of a jumbo hot dog, but it works absolutely great. It didn't tear at my dogs fur, but gripped it as it cut it, which is very helpful when you need to make the right cut around the eyes or paws.This is a must have addition for your dogs grooming supplies. It doesn't even cost that much, and you have nothing to lose because customer service is speedy and effective!-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Below is my previous review:I haven't used my trimmer yet, but as soon as I saw it, I realized that it looks like it's in terrible condition. The pink paint looks like someone painted it on with nail polish, then got it on the steel part of the scissors. Part of the logo on the scissors have been scraped/rubbed off already. It looks like this belongs in a "2nds" pile.I still haven't used it. I'm going to wait to see if I get contacted by anyone, because maybe they're all in this condition?

Nice sturdy little scissors that are perfect to trim my long haired cats fur growing over pads of paws. Very satisfied with them.

Purchased these because of the nice reviews. How could so many people be so wrong! They feel nice and well made, however in cutting ability they proved substandard. Tried them on two dogs: one with coarse hair and one with fine hair with very poor results. The hair moves between the two cutting blades without proper cutting producing inaccurate cuts with the need for many more cuts, never getting it right. My hands were getting very tired and my patience and the dogs' would not hold up to this! The screw appeared to be adjusted properly and there does not seem to be any damage to the blades. Went back to my old vintage scissors which I was replacing deciding that perhaps I don't need new scissors afterall since they cut without causing the hairs to move producing precise cuts, although they do lack the blunt tips. These scissors might be useful for small children's art work. I may return them as I have no use for them.UPDATE: It was very kind of the company to replace the scissors without delay and without me having to request it. I am sad to have to leave my review rating as it stands, however, as the replacement scissors' performance is not any better than the original. I was offered a refund by the company and am not being asked to return either of the scissors. That sounds like real old fashioned service to me. Much appreciated.UPDATE: I HAVE NOW RECEIVED A THIRD FREE SCISSORS! This company really wants to satisfy their customers! How refreshing. Again, I wish I could say that the third one is an improvement, but I can't. Really did want to like the third. Thank you for your efforts. Because the company is so wonderful I added a star. Wish I felt I could do more - you're just so nice.UPDATE: In all I received 5 scissors! The last 2 work well. Also received a letter stating that the scissors had been improved. They do work much better. Therefore, I have added 2 stars.

Perfect scissors to cut the straggly bits of hair around my dogs eyes, the round tips reassure me that I am not going to damage him and the small size makes them easy to use.

I had already bought the scaredy cut kit which is great but found it hard to get round my dog's ears, paws etc, with it, so I ordered these tiny trim scissors. These are brilliant for trimming round his ears, the pads of his feet and in between his nails. He hates getting these done even at the groomers but with these scissors he sits nice and calmly and then falls asleep while I finish. There is no fear of cutting him with the rounded tips and they are very sharp as they cut well especially through a few matted bits he had. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to save money going to the groomers or for in between visits to groomers.

These don’t look like real scaredycut to me. They say made in Pakistan but scardycut is made in the USA so I think they are overpriced
