If you have someone who likes cooking but is a picky eater, this is a great choice. It is more educational and explains the food groups, etc. with a few recipes that might interest them after learning about it first.

My 4 yr old son loves this book. Not only does he frequently ask to read it but he also loves helping make the recipes it contains. We've found that when we get him involved in cooking meals he eats them better so that is a huge bonus. The book itself is full of bright, eye-catching photographs, and the recipes are all fairly straightforward and very tasty.

Love this book, given as a Christmas gift

Lots of detail on where food originates from. Great book for my 2.5-year-old, she loves this series on sesame street and this book.
