This installed very quickly with a 4 mm and 5 mm hex wrench. You can see from my photos that it raised my handlebars up and also pulled them closer to me about an inch in each direction. My old stem was and unadjustable 110 mm by 17 degrees, and it set my drop handlebars on my road bike far too long and far too low for my comfort. Riding was putting a ton of pressure on my wrists and the heels of my hands and it was also causing pain in my shoulders when I would ride. The solves that problem! The piece is hefty and solid. Good quality and construction, and when the screws are tightened down properly, it's very stable. I have no concerns that it would come loose or detach from the bike at all. Highly recommend if you need to raise your handlebars up and/or bring them closer to you.

I purchased this to replace a fixed long-Tee stem on my Aventon Level eBike. It allowed adjustments to bring the handlebars closer to the seat; and higher----both very desired improvements. High quality item and it fit great.

I didn't like being in such a forward position on my Aventon Level so I ordered this. Installation was straightforward (pay attention when taking things apart). Some reviewers suggest spacers but I didn't add any. It is much more comfortable riding the bike now. Only complaint is that I feel a wobble when turning corners. I can't find the wobble when I'm not moving. It's just a little snaky on the corners. Nonetheless, I recommend this

This mount was skinnier by 4mm than my Cannondale, where it wraps around the stem,top to bottom.Make sure to buy spacers so as to get proper bearing preload on your forks.For instance, I used a spacer slightly bigger than the difference.Easy as pie to install, don't overtorque. show some restraint.Snug, not gorilla tight.Seems well-made and sturdy.Raised my bars by about 3 inches and pulled them toward the seat by approximately 2 inches on my hybrid.Recommended.

Went with this stem based on Amazon and other web reviews. Arrived on time with no damage. The stem is well manufactured and very robust. Looks like a piece of OEM equipment so kudos to those who still build stuff right. I immediately threw away the instructions then proceeded to install the stem backwards (there is a "degree of angle" indicator on the adjacent parts to allow you to set your angel correctly). Took apart and reinstalled correctly using loctite on all the parts. Have about 400 miles on it and everything is holding solid. Raised the bar on my Cannondale Quick 1 hybrid to the perfect height. I did have to rotate my attachment points (GPS mount, light, ring-a-dingy bell) downward as I raised the bar up which is expected. Everything is bolted with allen head bolts so no cheesy phillips heads to deal with here. One suggestion would be to put a small line in the center of your handle bar so you can keep the bar centered as you install. The stem has a opening that allows you to see where the handle bar is positioned.

This little gadget has greatly improved the my back comfort on my Kingbull Hunter e-bike. I'm 6'2" but with realatively short legs and a longer body. I found myself bent over and both my back as well as my wrists and elbows got fatigued quickly when riding. I added this handlebar extension and riding is so much more enjoyable. The build seems to be solid and the "grip" on my handle bars is tight. The installation was simple and easy to understand. I picked the next to the highest extention and that seemed to work for me. I can adjust very quickly using the provided allen wrench if needed. Overall I"m very statisfied and would purchase again.

Wegen Rückenschmerzen haben ich das Teil gekauft. Es lässt sich perfekt montieren und einstellen. So hat man jetzt eine andere Sitzposition. Wenn es nicht mehr gebraucht wird kann man es problemlos zurückmontieren.

Cette potence est de bonne fabrication ; solide et précise, c'est un très bon rapport qualité/prix. Installation et réglage ne présentent aucune difficulté. A recommander si on souhaite un guidon plus haut pour ne pas se casser le dos lors des longues virées à vélo ; allure moins sportive bien sûr, mais c'est tellement plus confortable !
