Great tablet at a great price!
My 2019 10" Fire HD tablet was becoming increasingly difficult to use: it would become sluggish to the point of freezing up under regular web browsing and I couldn't take it anymore, so I decided to start looking for a good one to replace it that wasn't going to cost me a lot of money.Cut to several weeks later and I landed on this Samsung Galaxy S6 Tab Lite, which I purchased refurbished. While I've had it for a few weeks now, after just a few days I was already happier with it than my old Fire tablet. It's responsive, hasn't frozen up or lagged under what I would consider to be normal use (web browsing, watching videos, reading books), already comes with Play Store included whereas I had to sideload it on the other tablet, and it gets good support in terms of updates. The display is really good, with smaller bezels than the Fire so it feels like you're getting a larger tablet even though it's the same screen size. The body feels like metal vs cheap plastic (the Fire creaked and felt like it wasn't nearly as well-constructed), and my version has plenty of storage at 64GB with a micro SD slot for expansion. While it doesn't adopt SD cards as additional internal storage like the Fire, which could essentially view it as all the same rather than separate drives, the 64GB is plenty generous for all but the heaviest of use cases. The speakers are great, plenty clear and loud, and my Bluetooth earbuds connect quickly and reliably, again in contrast to my previous experience. The cameras are good; no one takes photos with their tablet (ok, *most people* don't), but these are good for things like Google Meet and Zoom as well as the average rear-facing picture. The rear camera does have a slight raised bezel that isn't a huge deal, but it's noticeable when you put it on a table. It also has a standard USB-C port for charging and data; one small issue, my refurbed unit came with a generic USB wall plug and an Apple Lightning cable rather than a C-style cable. It wasn't anything to complain to the seller about as I've got tons of USB-C cables and chargers, it was just kind of funny to see it in the package.Even brand new at regular price it would feel like a great deal, but with a few bucks knocked off and without any obvious defects at the 'Excellent' refurbished level it's an even better bargain. If you're in the market for a tablet of this size and don't want to spend a fortune while still getting a very useable and quality order of equipment, look no further.

Excellent art tablet, but case not included
First thing to note is that this product does not technically include the case shown in the photos. Many people commented that they received the case. I did not. I reached out to Amazon's customer service. At first they clarified that it is not listed as part of what you'll get delivered. Which is true. But they understood the misleading nature of this product listing and offered to send me the case for free as compensation. Here is that case if you are curious:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0897CMGMDSecond. I bought this not because I need a portable machine. I have an excellent MacBook that is super thin and light and has a full-size keyboard. But I have been wanting a basic drawing tablet to help me think through some of my ideas while designing software. I thought about getting a Remarkable e-ink device or one of its many competitors. But those are typically $500 and more once you add in the stylus, case, and so on. I couldn't bring myself to spend that much on something so limited. Even if the reflective e-ink screen is cool. But I could get behind spending $250 for a device that's a full Android tablet with a pressure-sensitive stylus. It turns out that this tablet is much better than I was expecting. The screen is very bright and color-rich. The speakers are decent for playing music with. And the device seems speedy enough to run a web browser and other typical apps. I don't plan to use it for gaming. But for comparison, I have a top-performing $3,500 laptop and various other devices I use daily. As a software engineer I have a good sense of what sort of performance to expect. Battery life seems plenty good too. Although this is a refurbished unit, I don't see any evidence of past use or damage. It is in like-new condition.I downloaded the free Sketchbook app and started painting with it. I was amazed at how cool it is. I haven't done any serious paining or drawing for a long time. This felt surprisingly natural and impressed me. It's not like the ever-incredible PhotoShop and won't do anywhere near the things I typically need from PS. But it is super easy to figure out and use. My wife, who is a daily doodler, also enjoyed using it for this purpose. It's worth noting that it's fairly easy in Android to set up multiple Google accounts so you can each log in and have access to your own email and such.On the whole I'd say this is a success. Especially for a tech nerd who wants an expensive substitute for paper and pencil.

Worth the price
I was looking to upgrade my A7 to a better tablet to start using for productivity and I believe I made a good choice. Good for take notes, type, write, editing, streaming. I'm not a gamer so I haven't use it for games. S pen works good, just need to get use to it. I came fully charge and it also came with cable and charger. The only thing it's it didn't came with a case and I've seen in others user reviews that it comes with the case. I'll contact the seller.Either way, if you're in a budget and would like to upgrade your old tablet or get a good one, I recommend this one.

Great price and great service.
I'm a digital artist and needed something small but decent to carry around when on the road. This unit came highly recommended by my other artist friends and I cannot express how right they were to suggest it. While not as powerful as the S6 full or the more modern S7, it gets the job done with very little delay. I've used Medibang Paint, ClipStudio, and several rough animation programs with no lag or very little to speak of. If you;re an artist looking for something mobile and decent- this is the thing to get.The refurbished unit itself works like a charm- No issues, body is in flawless condition, and it works for what I need it for. Battery life is astounding too, I left it on sleep mode overnight while compiling an animation and it only used about 10 or 12% of the battery. Fantastic.Other features--Fast Charging ability (If you have the cord and adapter that supports it.)-Stylus has palm rejection and pressure sensitivity. It clips magnetically to the unit or the case. Oh yeah. They send you a case to go with it!-Memory expansion slot in Micro SD form. (Recommended, but the current memory is nothing to sneeze at.)-Screen is easy to clean, but I do recommend getting a Liquid Glass screen protector for it. Makes the screen 'smoother' for the stylus and who doesn't like a more scratch resistant unit?In all I am very satisfied with the refurb tablet and the service. The original tablet I received had a flaw with the temp sensor- It always said it was too cold to charge even when sitting on a heating vent. Supplier offered to replace it and they did with great communication the whole time. Cheers to you lads!In the inevitable chance that I break this tablet (I travel a lot) you can bet I'll be coming back to this supplier for another. Or an upgrade once the S7s are a bit cheaper.Cheers!

Shouldn't have been listed as excellent condition
I'm a student, and i wanted a tablet to take to college, write notes and read on, since my laptop is too heavy to take with me, i write too many notes to use classic pen and paper, reading on a computer screen is very uncomfortable and even printing double sided two pages per sheet became an ecological and organizational nightmare for me since i have to read so much. Because of import tariffs and taxes i needed a tablet that was good but cheap, and a renewed samsung seemed like the right option.I bought this accepting the risk that could come with a renewed purchase, even if the product was listed as excellent condition, you know, a few scratches here and there, less battery life, typical stuff.Either they accidentally gave me the wrong product or they listed it wrong because "excellent" is not the condition my tablet was in: this was, almost literally, a brand new tablet. No scratches, the battery lasts very long and according to the samsung diagnostics tool, everything is perfect and the battery life is rated as "good", it's not slow or anything. Because this was so cheap, i was able to import it to my country without paying extra taxes and tariffs i'd have had to pay if it was a more expensive new tablet. The packaging was good too, but it was not samsung packaging (i don't think anybody cares too much about that) and the pen, charger and cable were all original, so while it wouldn't have been a dealbreaker to get generic charger and cable, it's a nice thing to have the genuine ones. I'm ELATED about my purchase and i know this tablet will be with me for years to come.

Worth every penny. So glad I actually bought it.
When it comes down to the tablet just about every aspect of it is perfect. The condition of it I mean I couldn't tell if it ever been used except for the fact that it didn't come in a new box. Didn't have any problem with setting it up it even came with the S Pen and a case and I'm not sure if that's a default or if it was just included by my seller. But it's extremely convenient and well-designed and utilizes magnets to hold the tablet in place and has magnetic points for the S Pen and so the tablet can stand up on its side and you just close it like a book.Overall I haven't had any problems with it the bootloader can be unlocked easily in case you want to root it or put something like Kali nethunter on it. The storage is decent has an SD card slot and the camera is pretty good as well. It doesn't have a flashlight or camera flash so you can't use it to search for things that you lose but overall I can't say that I'm disappointed in any way as it did not cost a lot and I can't even imagine what would separate this light version from higher versions but I'm sure whatever features they contain aren't of that much importance.Does not have a fingerprint reader but with the redesigns of these screen layered fingerprint reader is I really don't even care because without a dedicated physical spot they're essentially useless so Samsung needs to rethink the strategy on that.Solid 8.5/10

Connectivity Not As Advertised
Connection via cellular is not possible even though "Cellular Technology 4G" is clearly listed under Product Information. Does not accept SIM card.I have since learned that some models (P615) of this Samsung Galaxy S6 Tablet are cellular capable but the one sent to me (P610) is not. I have not discovered a way to communicate that with Amazon other than this Review.Otherwise it is a nice tablet that probably deserves five stars.
