Great Stand, Bad Price
This stand is exactly what I was looking for to hold my 100lb muay thai bag. It provides the perfect space for bag work, with plenty of room.STURDINESS:- I don't feel concerned in the least about having a 100lb on this stand. Definitely feels like it should support it.- The legs were prone to walking with heavy strikes, but I anticipated this and bought a set of four 25lb sand bags (50 lbs on each leg). This solved it.(Note: Quickcrete Play Sand is $3 and some change at lowes/home depot--don't buy it online.)ASSEMBLY:- Very easy to put together, and hands down the best machined nuts and bolts I've ever seen for a bag stand or any piece of furniture, etc.- Would be easier to have assistance with assembling the upper parts, but I was able to do it by myself without issue.- For the guard it provides, I found it was too loose unless you crossed the button straps as pictured.- Also to note, the nuts, bolts, and washers are VERY greasy, so you'll probably need to wipe down the stand after assembly. Definitely better to have greasy parts than rusty parts, not complaining.PRICE:- This stand is overpriced, but it is still worth it in my opinion. I've seen much more typical stands that provide no room for bag work listed at over $900.- I found this stand listed on other sites for over $150 less, but every one of the sites was sold out. This leads me to believe it may no longer be produced, which may explain the exorbitant price here.Overall, I am very happy with this stand and definitely recommend it. I just wish it was listed for a more reasonable price.

Love this stand
Love this stand. Better than advertised! Glad I made the purchase. You can work all around the bag. Stand barely moves. I have a wrecking ball hooked up and deliver all strikes from all angles with no problem. Kicks, knees, elbows, jabs, cross, hooks and upper cuts with no worries. Easy assembly. Packed and delivered well. Frame is sturdy and built well. Fits in the corner of my garage with ease.

This was perfect for my 100lb Muay Thai bag!
The Cornerman is fantastic. I am using it for a 100 lb Fairtex Banana Bag on a carpeted floor. It is very quiet and stable so far. I am a 240 lb heavy puncher and kicker and the Cornerman has had no problems supporting the bag. There is plenty of room to move around it as well. I was able to assemble it alone and have the bag up in about 2 hours. Century was able to ship it to me very quickly and in great condition.

Good frame for light hitters. Heavy hitters with modification.
The stand is pretty stable but it has a lot of flex no matter how tight you torque the bolts. The square pipe that the bag hangs off is too long and caused the stand to walk no matter how many sand bags you put on it. I chopped 10 inches off of the bag hanger pipe and that helped stabilize it significantly.I like that the base is wide and I can move around the bag without tripping on the stand.

easy set up fits right in the corner!
My only concern is the bar that's Bent under the top bar I feel like over time it will bend more from long time use. It's a perfect product if you want Your punching bag not to run away from you. pricey but you get your moneys worth plus a sexy looking set up!

Excellent design but could have been done with some heavier duty tubing and better welds. Gotta cut corners somewhere... ;)
The stand is a great purchase if you are not throwing a super heavy bag on it. I use a 65 lb Fairtex leather teardrop bag and it ends up swinging like a wrecking ball when I use it. I would not trust the frame with 150 lbs simply because of the metal used. The welds dont look too pretty either and I've seen better tubing on bicycles. Other than that it beats the hell out of training in the snow on my other wall mounted stand. I recommend you purchase a spring to alleviate the stress on the frame, If you are using a thai bag which generally are 6 ft with about 1 1/2 to 2 feet of chain you are going to want the shortest spring possible. The higher the arm the lest stable the arm so keep the arm setting as low as possible. If you have a wratchet set you can probably put it together in 15 minutes. Take your bag down after use so it lasts longer. I also suggest you measure your space so you know for sure it will fit. This thing is not small. Some extra weights on the end of the arms help as well. It doesnt move too much without them, I just don't want it moving at all. It is also not as loud as I had expected. I thought it was going to creak and moan every time the bag swung but it is rather quiet. If you really don't want it to make noise you can shove some foam into the tubing to dampen any sound the frame makes. The only thing that moves is the arm and only a few inches. (a couple inches of play with a 65 lb bag makes me worry about 150lbs. I suggest you keep it down to 100 120lbs max if you want it to last) It provides an excellent ammount of space so you can work around the bag which is a necessity for me. I can bob and weave and do foot work all the way around the bag and my back does not end up against the frame. Oh and the tubing comes with these end caps but most of mine were broken.

Beat stand available! Century Martial Arts needs to correct listing & have better customer service.
Love it, best stand, solid & worth the $. CMA lists as Black. Shipped a White model, so I inquired…they said “all we have available is white”. So unless I cover return shipping costs I’m stuck with White. Poor customer service & miss-represented product. I’ll have to paint it black. Can’t rave enough about the amazing stand though. It’s a true 90°, holds my 80lb bag easily. No noise, no shake, and stand is out of the way when striking. If you want White, buy yours today!

Arrived broken and wasn’t helped with replacement part
Arrived with the metal bent in so you can’t get the parts to attach (see the picture). I contacted the seller twice - they responded the first time but with my follow up email they refused to help - said it was outside the timeframe for support (I think after 30 days or something? It’s been a while). I put it aside for a bit - had some life stuff come up at that time - I am now trying to find someone with the gear to fix the part but I am not optimistic…it’s basically been sitting in my basement 90% assembled for a couple years but I’m trying one more time now before trashing it or giving it away. Such a waste.
