W & H Marriage & Son Finest Strong (White) Breadmaking Flour 1.5kg (Pack of 5)

First time trying this lovely flour and I’m very impressed. I was using M&S everyday extra strong bread flour for my sourdough breads but this has exceeded that. Lovely flavour. Good value and wonderful bake.

When making your own bread, the quality of the ingredients matter. I have trusted this brand for many years as it is local to me. I tried other cheap brands of flour and the loaves turned out far from perfect. Switching to this brand I get the perfect loaf every time.

Very good flower to make rolls or bread

we have been purchasing this flour for several years to make bread in our bread machine. We rate it highly for its lovely consistency and value for money. We always mix it with a granary or seeded flour for a varied flavour. but do also use it on its own for french bread dough. it is superb.

recommended for bread making

I had used this flour for a while with good results but stupidly thought I would try another flour for a change “ Boy was I wrong” all of a sudden my sourdough bread wasn’t rising the same and my starter was very gloopy. Since I changed back to Marriages bread flour my bread is top class once more and my starter is growing well. . Thank you.

This is a step up from the flour I did use, looks just the same but isn’t, it is far superior going by the results with the same recipe. It is more expensive, but I believe worth it.

Great flour, shame about inadequacy of the paper packaging. I got one with a puncture which is hella inconvenience. I recommend that the supplier take a look at tea providers for yerba mate. I have a packed of tea that looks bullet proof.
