I think most people have a price point in their head where they say "here is how much I am willing to pay for something that will last a month". It's different for everyone and has to do with your income and values. I opened up this box and the first thing out of my mouth was "Oh H^)) No! Not for $70!" On the other hand I would gladly pay $35 and have them last 6-10 wearings. The leather was fantastic and the style is cute so for that they get 2 stars. The edges of the leather were unfinished so -10 stars. The stitching was cheap and poorly done, not "rustic", just cheap, more negative stars. The insole was significantly smaller than the width of the shoe so if I had decided to keep these then I would have been walking partly on insole and partly on the bad stitching, -20 stars.But back to the "we all have our own throw away price point"... my mom came over while I was packaging up my Amazon returns and fell in love with these shoes. She doesn't think $70 is too much for shoes that won't last the summer and immediately ordered a pair. There are already problems but she doesn't care because she ordered 3 others pairs at the same time. Different people, different values.

I have the same shoes in cream that I also bought on Amazon that I absolutely love. I wanted to buy another pair in a different color and decided on the Blue Raffia (price was unbeatable!). Despite being the same model, the construction feels a lot rougher. From the pictures, the exterior looked pebbled with texture, but I thought it was only limited to the exterior. Unfortunately, it affected the entire construction of the shoe.The interior is a lot rougher, too, with the seams chafing the foot from the interior foot bed. And because it's a stiffer material than the leather-like cream, the fit feels tighter because the material has no extra give/stretch. I've had no problem walking all day in the cream shoes, even after suffering feet/arch problems, but I can't say the same with the Blue Raffia. Its saving grace is Reef's awesome sole, but other than that, I'm still grabbing the creams 9 times out of 10. Aside from the style, they're really quite different shoes. I really hope Reef comes out with the same shoe as the cream but in a different color—black or gray!

Quality control on these is poor. First one I got ripped within 5 hours of wearing. I work in an office and basically sit all day. I returned for a second pair and they have been fine. These are comfortable and I bought them for trendy travel wear while on vacation, but due to the iffy quality I'll just wear them at home and at work.

Leather, color and style were terrific but size was a little small. I was afraid they would hurt if I wore them long enough to stretch them so I sent them back. Amazon was amazing, providing return label and quickest refund ever - by the time I got back from the post office I had a notice that my money had been credited back to my card.

Fits amazingly! Super comfy... Loooooove them!!! I do have to note that I've noticed that Reef's shoes run a bit big... I'd order 1/2 a size down, but even so, they are fantastic and deserve 5 stars!

love the insoles and the color. Once I break them in, the cloth will stretch so not worried about them feeling a bit tight.

I personally love espadrilles. So comfy and stylish. Unfortunately I had to get rid of them because I got caught in the rain. I will purchase over and over again..

Extremely comfortable. And your feet can breathe easy. Low arch for the flat footed.

Super schöne und vor allem bequeme schuhe! Die qualität ist man von reef schon gewöhnt! Würde die schuhe wieder kaufen!
