Will this device be Detectable to the IT department? Or should I buy a separate USB port and plug it through there? I’m scared of getting caught

When you plug it in it just shows up as a universal USB device. It is no different from plugging in a wireless mouse.

As one of the reviewers mentioned, why not just setup something to hold down the "insert" key ? would that be detectable ??"

Like Marry said, you can setup something to hold down the insert key, but the key will probably be damaged sooner than using it normally. And this mouse jiggler is very convenient and affordable.

Why not just go under settings and change it to never sleep?!?!
