I bought this to.cut down on the odor and dirt from my fuel oil furnace. It worked great! My daughter's cat has asthma and never had an attack with this filter in my furnace vents.

I use these in all my air conditioners. When I see what they filter out, I am always glad to have used them. Cut to fit is a plus. I use the first one I cut as a template for subsequent needs. Doing so makes changing them out easy.

I use it in the kitchen, intake-air vent, to absorb odors. Mounted over a basic filter. Looks like it will work. My 10x48 Pre-filter Carbon Sheet is both made and packaged well. If this works in the vent, I will cut a smaller piece to fit the microwave filter.

I use these to replace filters in two smoke eater units, and it saves a lot of money compared to buying filters through the manufacturer. I merely have to trim to length with scissors.

I bought this and cut it to size to my narrow cheaper Honeywell Tower shape purifier and I felcroed it at the top and the bottom to the filter because mine came with it already attached but it wasn't quite as strong. I happen to have a bit of Velcro so I use that a little piece at the top and the bottom you could glue it on as well I also vacuum every 3 days both sides when I was vacuuming the one that was glued on to the filter that came with the machine it was pulling apart over time like cotton batten it wasn't as strong as this product here. As a matter of fact, it's the same texture and feel as a dollar store green scrubby pad. Ot might even be the same thing only black and larger. Actually it's not as stiff as the green scrubby pads which I also use for my feet while I'm on that topic. It's just to catch the larger bits maybe someone uses it where they're working with sodas or something or gyprock is to catch the bigger bits and the white filter behind it catches the smaller bits that it misses and gets through.

I cut the filters to the size of my garbage lids, and it works very well to absorb the unpleasant smell.
