I’ve had these outdoor rope lights installed for about 9 months and recently ran into an issue where they stopped responding correctly and eventually would not turn on at all. I contacted MINETOM support and was very impressed with how quickly they responded. Winter from customer service was professional, helpful, and easy to work with throughout the process. After a few troubleshooting steps and photos, they immediately arranged a replacement under warranty without requiring me to return the old set. The replacement arrived within just a couple of days, and the new lights are working perfectly. I purchased these rope lights specifically for our camping trips, and I absolutely love them. I've been enjoying the lights since the Fall and last night it stopped working. How can I replace the beginning hook up since I have multiple sets connected together? I don't want or need all new sets as it's only the 1st one where the plug in has been damaged or burnt out. Any suggestions? Otherwise I've truly enjoyed changed the colors with the seasons, holidays or just for various fun color schemes. It's great that multiple sets can be connected (up to a limit).

These are impressive lights. It has many colors, fade, blink and many options. The wall plug seems waterproof enough. The lights are about 4” apart in a nice 1/4” plastic tube. Might use zip ties or string to attach them temporarily. The remote has so many options it’s amazing. The brightness is very good with a dimmer. I’m going to use these to light up my RV canopy and supports. Cons: very thin wire connecting lights to the wall adaptor. Also, the wall adaptor seems cheap with the voltage adapter built in. Might be hard to replace if it breaks.

Excellent quality. Was easy to install on my deck. Lights are bright. Connects up easily and the value of these is outstanding! I have them on my deck year round here in the winter and they work perfectly! The Remote Control allows you to change colors for the different occasions. Works year round here in Minnesota!

What's there not to like about these Color Changing Rope Lights? Not much. The set up was easy. You just need an available AC outlet. I put these up and around my Apt. Walls/Ceiling area. I used masking tape so as to not damage my walls. The color of the tape also 'masks' my white walls pretty well too. Once put up and plugged in I have two ways of controlling the light colors and displays. You have basic functionality with the 2-button controller that's connected on the light rope between the AC Adapter and the beginning of the lights on the rope -OR- for much more functionality you can use the included Multifunctional Remote. What's nice is it's very small, thin and super simple to use. There are a whopping16 colors to choose from and varying display options as well. It really does light up my room so well. I set the color to my mood on any given day. I just love it. And my guests are always blown away with the eye-popping light show as well. These colored rope lights are so much cooler and safer to use than lighting candles to set any mood. My only negative is that since the lights rope came all spiraled up in it's box (as it should and as shown on the product page), it was very difficult for me to get a nice, clean straight line of rope along the wall/ceiling area. Instead it looks as you can see in the photos provided. More wavy throughout. It's still not too bad looking all things considered and not that noticeable but just know what to expect when you plan to set it up. These were really meant more for outdoors and are more fitting for spiraling around a tree or railings.

I used this to put around the pool (between path and lawn) and it looks amazing!! Very easy to install and good quality. I have to admit, there are too many buttons and I have no idea how to use them all, but that's ok because all the setting look nice at night. I have noticed, however, that you have to point the remote directly at the box and you can't be too far to use it but that's ok with me. I set it and leave it. Worth the purchase.

Great product. Perfect size for our outdoor planter. Bright white lights are just what we wanted. First order arrived but was missing pieces. Holly & Eve in Customer Service took note of our situation and were able to get us a replacement with all the parts very quickly. Recommend the product & the company.

Works well, but stiff and fragile plastic casing. Image is a bit misleading. Definitely for outdoor use only, but I can make it work for the price point.

Purchased them for extra evening lighting on our enclosed porch at the cabin. Setup was very simple with the added hooks, but we definitely could have used a few more. Was a 2 person job, but could have been a one person job easily. Installation and setup was a breeze, simple on/off switches once installed and instructions were very clear. The remote is a nice added bonus. We have the solar panel cord fished outside to catch light. It works so great I purchased a second string for extra added brightness as it’s a very large porch.
