DanskinWomen's Essential Bermuda Short

I had bought gray shorts with the same style number from Danskin at Walmart years ago. Since the gray ones are now a lower amount of cotton than my originals, I decided to go with the black ones since the cotton percentage was only off by 1 percent. Even having bought the same size, these are way smaller than my original pair, which were/are a loose fit. These I can barely get on and off my hips. I am going to see about returning for an XXL instead.

Soft fabric, feels and looks great!

Overall, these are very good shorts. I am 5’1 and 135lbs, the Large fits me well (was a tiny bit big, but shrunk in the wash). I got the black and they are 95% cotton, 5% spandex. They feel VERY soft and cottony.I really like the fabric, pockets and flattering look on my legs.I dislike that the model in the picture makes it look like these are low to medium rise waist, but they actually come fully up to my belly button (and the waistline is slightly narrower than the rest, indicating that this is the intended fit). I dislike high waisted things, but luckily this is still pretty comfortable and stretchy enough that I could wear it on my hips (it just wouldn’t look as flattering).

I buy Danskins for the fit and comfort, in which they excel. I don't buy Danskins for the fashion, but for my body type they end up looking better than other brands. They hold their quality for a very long time. Super comfy and fit to wear all day. I even sleep in them sometimes.

My favorite pair of shorts to just lounge around at home or at camp. I like that they are soft, the length of the shorts and they are comfortable in the waist.

I love these shorts and have previously bought them in blue and black. They are cotton with a little bit of Spandex for stretch. I recently ordered a gray and a black pair and unfortunately the gray is a cotton polyester blend but this isn't stated in the description so the gray ones are going back. The cotton ones are cool on hot days and very comfortable.

I have a few pairs of these and I live them they are soft and wash well. Comfortable to wear all day.

It is not exactly like the picture. I was hoping it would be longer until the knees or just a bit shy of it. It was more mid thigh. It's comfy and loose, not too tight. The fitting is not very flattering, I have larger upper thighs so instead of slimming the look it appears larger. I like wearing it to the gym and for a stroll.
