Rubbermaid Brilliance Glass Food Storage Containers, 3.2 Cup, Set of 4, BPA-Free, Leak-Proof, Clear

I wanted to get away from the plastic containers and go with glass. The trade-off is glass containers will be heavier. But we’re good with that. Pros: * Seals tight. I filled them all up with water and turn them upside down and none of them leaked. * Durable. While we wash the glass in the dishwasher, we still choose to wash the tops by hand even though they say they are dishwasher safe. Unlike some brands, these tops appear very durable. Looks like this set will last for many years. * Interchangeable tops. Several of the sizes use the same tops. * Stackable. This style stacks better than any that we’ve had before. I really like the rectangle sizes. They Stack in the cabinets or refrigerator more efficiently than our old round ones. They also fit perfectly in our lunch box for work. * Sizes. Everyone’s needs are different but these particular sizes meet our needs perfectly. No itty-bitty containers. Perfect sizes for leftovers and lunches. Cons: * Price. I did not go looking for other options to see if this set was significantly cheaper elsewhere. But they do appear a bit pricey. * My issue was trying to find the sizes of the containers that are included in this nine piece set (9 containers with 9 tops). So below is what we received: 1 (8 cup) @ 11-1/2” x 7-1/2” x 2-3/4” tall 1 (4.7 cup) @ 8” x 5-1/4” x 3-1/2” tall 2 (3.2 cups) @ 8” x 5-14” x 2-1/2” tall 2 (2 cups) @ 8” x 5-14” x 2” tall 3 (1.3 cups) @ 5-3/4” x 3-3/4” x 2-3/4” tall After using this set for a few more months, we will see what sizes we use most and supplement it with more of the same brand of containers. We like doing our food prep over the weekends and this style is perfect for our needs. They do keep our food fresher for a longer period of time due to the tight seal. Plus we like not having our food in plastic due to all the health concerns (especially when we warm up our food in the microwave). Hope this helps you.

Be very careful with Rubbermaid if you are seeking to buy glass, they have these in plastic as well and I had to cancel them because I wanted the one that were glass. Great product, the lids are great, you hear the air go in and out depending one putting on the lids or taking them off. Seals work, they do not leak. The sizes are ok, wish they had more of these in different sizes but Rubbermaid does not have any more round storage containers and that is a shame, I love the fact they are great value for the money because the reality is they will last for years to come. Durable and safe, have not chipped or cracked from refrigerator, dishwasher or freezer so far. They do work for stacking and are dishwasher safe. I put them on the top shelf of my dishwasher and the big one on the bottom. I fully recommend using them and buying them. I don't label but you can label them because the glass is thick and study, I wouldn't recommend labeling the lids because they are not glass and I do not know what the plastic is they are using on it but I don't believe it would be easy to remove.

We are working our way out of using plastic food containers as much as possible. After much research, we bought a set of these, and now we have two sets because they are just about ideal. The sizes are varied enough for 90% of the food we need to store in the fridge. The containers are stackable both with and without lids, and fit great on our fridge shelves. Somehow the glass is even more see-through than plastic containers, or maybe it's the size/shape of these, but I feel like it is easier to see and tell what is in these than any containers we've used before. The lids close easily and with no loud noise (which I've seen with other types of closures, especially the kind with four tabs, and wanted to avoid). The only downside we have found is that the lids seal VERY tightly and can be hard to open once sealed. But that is more than outweighed by how EVERYTHING else about these containers is so well-designed for how we actually use them. They have turned out to be better than expected! Highly recommend.

I'm very happy with these storage dishes. The size is perfect for casseroles, and the flexibility to bake, freeze, and refrigerate in the same dish is great. They stack pretty well inside each other for cupboard organization, although the lids don't stack as well. The seals are great - strong, flexible, and working well after several runs through the dishwasher. They seal tightly enough that you need to pull pretty firmly to open them, and they haven't leaked. Both the glass bottom and the plastic top have proven dishwasher safe, so they clean up pretty easily.

My set of 9 Rubbermaid containers arrived today. Heavy-duty plastic lids with thick rubber gaskets and glass containers arrived in flawless condition. They came very well packaged and on time from Amazon. The containers are not heavy, but are sufficiently thick and the lids fit very tightly. I washed all 9 containers in my dishwasher (glass on the bottom tray and lids on the upper tray) and all went well. As a test, I filled all 9 with water, turned them upside down and shook them vigorously. I didn't see a drop of water escape..very impressed. Only time will tell if the rubber gaskets remain water-tight, but after these initial tests, I would highly recommend these containers as a great value if you are in the market for good quality glass containers.

love this glass storage! These containers seal like a vault! No food odors escape into your fridge. I switched to all glass for food storage, no more plastic. The lids are plastic, though. That may be my only caveat. If you push down too hard to seal the lid, they can crack right in the center. But it seems all lids for all brands and styles can have some sort of crack issue, so it's a trade off. I love the glass, its durable, can be used in the microwave and washed in the dishwasher, no special care required. No issues with staining or odor retention. I've had garlic/italian foods stored as well as mexican foods and no staining nor odors. ZERO issues with leaks. love them. Best in class right now for glass food storage.

I do believe that the whole Glass Brilliance line by Rubbermaid is the best out there. Reheating in glass is OBVIOUSLY far better than plastic...that's a no-brainer. Glass is virtually non-stick and doesn't stain or peel. The rubber seal around the lid is super easy to clean too. Doesn't trap liquid and/or mold like other brands I've tried. They stack nicely on top of each other in the fridge. My only wish is that they made lids in different colors and especially made their all-plastic ones to look different than their glass. Ordered plastic by mistake and had to return. These are so worth buying and replacing your plastic storage containers. Well packaged, when they arrived, and tons of storage capacity. So far, no leakage from the securely tight fitting lid and doesn't trap odors. Only con is that when you put food away and it's still warm, the suction of the lid can be a little difficult to remove. Other than that, don't hesitate to buy.

Love these - glass, the lid stays well and truly air/water tight and just feels generally excellent quality. The only thing I’d say is they are quite expensive.

We are pretty fussy and these containers are great quality. They seal well and yes the lids are a bit tight to start off with but hey better than leaking yeah. We bought a large kit with 2 large containers,medium, small and the smaller size that are good for nuts or say protein powder to take with you to work. I use the size pictured for 70gm of home made oat mix with yogurt & blueberries, works perfect. These containers wash up well and are very durable.

This is my 5th purchase of the Rubbermaid brilliance line. I now have gotten rid of all my old containers and have replaced them with a combination of plastic and glass Rubbermaid Brilliance ones including the ones I use for dry foods. I love how they are super clear (and don’t stain), do not leak, and very easy to stack. Having the lids work on both glass and plastic is so useful! The four containers here are good for leftovers as a single meal for lunch. Or I like to use them to store berries after I’ve washed them. I wish this set came with the even deeper rectangular containers. You can ONLY get if you buy the complete glass set which is not cheap and it doesn’t seem to be offered/sold separately. Still very happy with my purchases of the whole line. Almost anyone who has seen them ask about them.

Product was def well designed with user experience in mind. Easy to remove lid, great quality glass, versatile for microwave, oven cooking, and easy to clean. The rubber lining on lid can be removed for cleaning :) The company was also very efficient with shipment and constantly updated me on its status via WhatsApp as well.
