I hold a Masters in Engineering and I work as a President for a US based Medical device company.1) My father suffers from hyper-tension, I purchased Dr trust Blood Pressure machine and sent it as a gift in August. Amazon did a great job shipping it. However the actual unit is total garbage!2) On the 2nd week of August, my mother calls me exceedingly concerned that my father's systolic BP is 183. I hit the panic button, but before we actually call for help, I ask them to use the machine to take more readings. Reading 1: 175, Reading 2: 1195, reading 3: 125, reading 4: 140. All the readings are taken on the same arm, while following the manual and its instructions perfectly under my supervision.3) I have a strong feeling that the machine is garbage, but nonetheless, I ask my parents to visit my dad's cardiologist. In his Office on August 18th he records my dad's systolic BP as 135. And my mother asks him to take a reading with the Dr Trust machine. When performed by a licensed Cardiologist, the Dr trust machine gives a reading of 189.The cardiologist laughs and says this machine is garbage, and should not be used. Given my father's condition has improved, the cardiologist actually reduces the amount of medication my father is supposed to take.4) My father's friends who use this machine have also commented that it cannot be trusted, and it gives high numbers. I bought OMRON HEM 7120 more than 6 months back. It was working fine till my son accidentally dropped it and broke it. I was looking for a replacement for OMRON when I came across Dr Trust Silverline BP Monitor on Amazon. Here are some of the reasons why I feel Dr Trust scores over OMRON.Dr Trust comes with memory function for 4 family members. As my old parents live with me, it is very useful. My father, mother, wife and me are using it everyday and last 30 readings for all family members are recorded. In previous OMRON no reading was recorded and it made daily tracking of BP readings very difficult. We had to manually write down readings and sometimes use to lose the papers on which readings were written. Now we show the data log to our family doctor whenever he visits us.Dr Trust comes with a wide soft cuff.It can be used for all arm sizes (big or small). This is useful if any of your family members has bigger arms. If your family members have normal arm size then this feature is not important.Dr Trust comes with WHO Indicator which clearly indicates if BP is normal or abnormal. This feature is not present in OMRONDr Trust comes in a large LCD size which makes the display very easy to read.I am very happy after buying this and can recommend others to buy. If you are looking for a simple BP machine with no features you can go for OMRON but if you are living in a family and need feature rich machine for multiple users then Dr Trust is recommended.

It’s flawless and have good quality

As it says it's error is very less about ±3 to ±5 percentage only. Easy to use, simple and effective.It may show a wrong result once in 10 tests.

The machine become dead ater 2 years . When the complaint was lodged, the company asked to courier to their service centre . A month gone they assesed beyond repairable & replaced with a new machine .Now one & half year passed the monitor is working good . It was the previleage of their offer for 10 years warranty regiastration ' The service center technical staff was highly helping minded . Special thanks to the service centre staff with RESPECT .
