A complete, well-priced kit that had everything I needed to replace my brake cables and housing. The cables are smooth, the housing cut cleanly, and the included end caps and ferrules meant no extra trips to the shop. Everything fit my bike without issue and the braking feels crisp again. Great value for a full set, recommended for any home mechanic.

I used this to fix a frayed brake cable on kids Schwinn. The larger barrel fitting at end of this replacement cable was quite a bit smaller than the Schwinn original so it doesn't really fit inside the lever fitting. It works but its more jammed in than a proper fit. I should have measured. The cable sheath was sane OD as Schwinn original.

It’s easy to instal just need to cut the mushroom tip off and keep the other end for the v brakes.Works well

This kit had everything I needed to replace the inner cable and housing for the rear brake on my kid's Woom 4 bike. There are special v-brake cable cutters, and I saw a tip on youtube to cut the housing with some inner cable in it so that it doesn't crimp, but I got decent results using cutting pliers (minimal crimping at the end, and I was able to push the inner cable through). I swapped out the existing flexible brake noodle for this rigid one and it fits well.

Very nice quality brake cables. I thought they were plastic coated they look so nice, but they're not, they're just really well made. Accessories are good also, sheathing is fine. The only thing that could have made them better would be metal end caps, but the plastic ones seem to work well enough. I cut them with a sharp wire cutter and they didn't fray.

You wouldn’t know it from the picture or the packaging but the front and back cables are different lengths. Make sure you pick the right one before cutting or you’ll be left with a rear cable that’s too short like I did and have to buy another because there’s no way to contact the seller to ask for another cable. Also it only comes with 5 end caps. I’m pretty sure I need 6 for my bike (2 for the front housing, 4 for the 2x back housings) Won’t be buying again

Tutto il necessario per la sostituzione del freno anteriore e posteriore. Arrivano 2 cavi in metallo. Ogni cavo ha da una parte la testa da utilizzare per il freno, mentre dall altra parte la testa per il cambio. Sta a voi tagliare dalla parte che vi interessa. Nel mio caso ho lasciato la testa per il freno, e utilizzato il cavo per il freno posteriore. Il tubo nero è composto All interno da una spirale in metallo e una guarnizione in plastica lubrificata per il cavo di metallo, ottimo. Poi avete la parte finale da mettere sul freno, sempre in metallo (non so come si chiama) con relativo gommino e un cappuccio di metallo per evitare che il filo si sfilaccia. Per tagliare ogni componente munitevi di una buona tronchessa e non avrete problemi.

Grâce à ce kit, j'ai pu refaire à neuf kes freins de mon ancien vélo. J'ai uniquement eu une inquiétude, vite dissipée. Les cables et les têtes de cable, pas de problème, il y a les deux sur un même câble, il faut seulement couper celui dont vous n'avez pas besoin. Aucune hésitation , très bonne qualité

You get what you see, and the quality is good. There are two different connectors in each end of the cables, you can melt off the one you don't need with a blowtorch.
