How many amps is it? Says I need to match amps when using extension cord

When it comes to electricity, an extension cord that is thicker has my wires and can carry more amperage/wattage. If you're extension cord is equal or thicker than the cord on your iron, you should be okay.

Does this iron spray water as well as steam?

Hello James, Yes, the Rowenta Professional DW5280 does include a spray button as well as a steam button.

Why can’t I find this model on the Rowenta website?

I heard it is not the real Rowenta version. They are supposed to fix that.

Why are these made in china?

Probably because it’s cheaper to make them there. The quality sure has gotten cheaper, too. I switched to the Chi iron. It’s wonderful!
