Very Strong Initial Smell But Lasted 5 Years
I have this mat on a desk in a cubicle farm. My neighbors from two and three cubicles over could smell the mat when it was new. The smell has faded some, but sitting at the desk it is still quite pungent. The smell is so strong that had to limit the review to two stars. Otherwise, the mat is exactly what I was looking for. Nice, big size with good cushioning. I see no deterioration on the edges. 5 year update: I don't use this as my mouse pad. Instead I used it to cushion my arms on the desktop. I'm a software developer and work from home. I'm at my desk at least 12 hours a day. The padding of my arms very works well. An issue has come up recently where the rubber bottom along the edge stitching has started to deteriorate. You might think this is a negative that would cause my rating to go down (from the original two stars) but I'm going to up my rating to five stars. Given the number of hours I've put on this pad I think it is well worth it. I've gone through at least one keyboard in the time I've had this pad, so that says something. The top of the pad is in excellent condition. Zero issues there. The initial odor did take a while to dissipate. I'm going to buy another one ahead of time and let it sit out for a while so the odor goes away before I put it to use.

Amazing HUGE Mousepad
I've been using this mousepad for a few months now. The reasons I purchased this particular mouse pad was because it had no ugly designs or logos on it and that it was huge. I absolutely hate mousepads with unnecessary branding and logos. All I want for a mousepad is to be a simple surface for my mouse (and keyboard with this giant pad) without looking like a race car. This vipamz one does an excellent job at being minimal with no logos and having a quality design. When you first get the pad it comes rolled up in a tube. I did not have any problems with curling or fraying with it. The surface texture feels nice to the touch, however it is a little hard to clean off dust. The stitching of the edges also looks good and provides a good "border" feel if you try to move your mouse outside the pad. Size wise the thing is a monster. Make sure your desk can actually fit it because it is 36" by 12". Pros: - Cheap - No branding or logos - Quality Materials Cons: - A little hard to dust some smaller particles off the surface, however its not that big of a deal to dock a star off for it Overall this pad is amazing for price, especially because it has no branding or logos on it and the quality of the pad. You really can't go wrong purchasing this pad for your computer.

I wasn't aware of any mouse pads this large and thought it would make a great desk pad
I saw a similar product on Massdrop at a higher price point and it piqued my interest. I wasn't aware of any mouse pads this large and thought it would make a great desk pad, so I checked Amazon to find something similar. This one came up with some good reviews and a great price, so I ordered it. Upon arrival, I inspected the edging. The appear well-enough constructed that I do not have concerns about it fraying, though there are a couple rough spots. While most buyers will probably use this as their mousing surface, I am using my hard, gaming mouse surface on top of it (took it off for the photo). Since that is it's main purpose, I did test it out in some League of Legends and for office work in LibreOffice Sheets. Mouse movement was accurate and smooth. It looks great (no branding) and feels good under my wrists. I use a similar (but traditionally small) product at work and know that this type of surface will collect a lot of dust, dead skin, and other detritus over time, eventually looking less attractive. Time will tell how this will hold up, but I am very happy with my initial feelings about it. Attached is a photo of it on my desk. A full-sized keyboard would easily fit on it with plenty of space left over for mouse movement. **Edit for 3/2/16** After a couple more weeks with the mouse pad, I really like it. I even retired my hard gaming surface as the pad tracks more smoothly, though I think that is partly due to the age of my old gaming surface. The larger pad hasn't moved a bit on my desk, which is an issue with smaller game surfaces and mouse pads. It's gone up in price since I bought it, but it was priced pretty far below others here (seems to be an OEM pad that many different companies have branded in the 36x12x.12" size). **Edit for 6/5/17** It's been over a year now and the mouse pad looks mostly new. None of the edges have any fraying. There are some food "stains" on the pad itself from my kids, but I feel like those would easily wash out with a bit of scrubbing with soap and water.

Average Mousepad with Room for Improvement
I recently purchased the Vipamz Extended Mousepad XXXL and have been using it for a while. While it has some positive aspects, overall, I find it to be an average gaming mousepad that could benefit from improvements. One of the positive features of this mousepad is its size. The XXXL dimensions provide ample space for my mouse and keyboard, allowing for smooth movement without feeling restricted. It covers a large portion of my desk, creating a unified surface for my gaming setup. The textured weave surface also offers decent tracking for my mouse, ensuring accurate and responsive movements. However, one aspect that falls short is the non-slip rubber base. While the mousepad initially stays in place, I've noticed that it tends to shift during intense gaming sessions or prolonged use. This requires occasional readjustment to maintain the desired position, which can be a minor inconvenience. Additionally, the overall build quality of the mousepad is average. Over time, the edges of the pad have started to fray, which affects both the aesthetics and the longevity of the product. It would be beneficial if the edges were reinforced or finished in a way that prevents fraying and adds durability to the mousepad. Another area for improvement is the texture of the surface. While it provides decent tracking, the texture can feel a bit rough on the skin, especially during longer gaming sessions. A smoother and more comfortable texture would enhance the overall user experience. On a positive note, the mousepad's pricing is reasonable, offering a decent value for its size. It is a budget-friendly option for gamers looking for an extended mousepad without breaking the bank. In summary, the Vipamz Extended Mousepad XXXL has its positives, such as its size and tracking capabilities. However, the non-slip rubber base, build quality, and texture could use improvement. While it serves its purpose adequately, there are other mousepads on the market with better overall performance and durability.

Can’t do any better
A couple of years ago when I got a new desk the edge was a little painful on my wrists. As someone who spends a large amount of time a week in front of a computer this was unacceptable. I decided to get a nice thick mat to cushion my wrists from the edge. I had been lucky enough at the time to have access to pretty much every major brand of mat so I knew what was out there. I was unhappy with nearly every one of them and was struggling to find what exactly I was looking for. Then a friend had gotten one of these and I instantly fell in love. First off there is no branding or graphics on the mat. I know that some people enjoy that stuff but I am a professional adult, I don’t need random garbage on my desk. Second it is nice and thick without feeling spongy. I know this is a subjective issue but I like to have some thickness for a mat like this. Personally I use a hard mouse pad on top of it so it is the perfect solution for both. Third is the quality of the materials and especially the stitching is top notch. I can tell you that much more expensive options from bigger manufacturers are no where near as well made as this. Cleaning the mat is a snap as well. I just ran it under some hot water with dish soap and it got rid of most of the funk that accumulated on it. Hang it on a shower rod or lay it in a sunny window for a bit and it is like new again. I recently bought a replacement mat after about 6 years of use on the old one. Mostly because I melted some of the rubber on the underside from putting a hot bowl of soup on top (don’t do this kids), but it still worked and looked fine. You can’t do any better for this type of product. I have had multiple friends end up buying these after using mine all of whom have had no issue either after years.

Worth the Price
to;dr - I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good, affordable large mouse/desk pad. The product itself is as advertised, and I love it. The stitching around the edges looks very well done without a single loose thread, which is something I've had a problem with before (not with this seller). The surface is a combination of both smooth and coarse, like super high grit sandpaper. I won't be loosing control of my mouse on this. Personally, I'm a fan. I prefer rough pads or smooth ones any day of the week, but this one strikes a good balance between the two. Oh, and its big. I fit my 2 phones, my full size gaming keyboard, and my Xbox controller on it, and I still had space left over to use as an oversized mousepad. Since it's not really fair to just talk about the things I liked, I'll add some cons here for the people that look for those like I do. None of these affect my rating, since they aren't things that I was expecting to have. Just compared to my ideal pad. It's a little more on the thin side than I'd like. It's very firm with a tiny bit of squish. I'd prefer a little more squish. The bottom isn't super gripy. It won't move just from use, but if you try to slide your heavy keyboard up on it to make room for something it'll most likely take the whole thing with it. That's all I've got, I had to really stretch to come up with those cons.

Very good value for price
I currently have this mat sitting under my Corsair K95 RGB Platinum and a Logitech G602. I was shocked when it fit EXACTLY where it needed to go, I didn't even need to move my monitors as I thought I would. The surface is good and I have no problems with mouse tracking. The finish was wearing off on my desk and the feet on my previous mouse (Logitech G700s) were wearing down. I recently had to replace the mouse and I figured I wanted to preserve it, so I went and bought this mousepad. I actually quite like its plain black coloration as it blends into the desk and doesn't distract or have graphics that I don't care for. As much as I love Corsair, I did not like the graphics on their extended mousepad. This mousepad grips my desk and it only moves when I want it to. In fact, I'm not even sure I need a coaster with this thing. The mousepad had no problem uncoiling. I didn't have to put anything on top of it to flatten it. It went right onto my desk after unpackaging with no issue. There is only one problem, but it's a problem that's endemic to the type of product rather than this particular model. That issue is cleaning. The material of this pad tends to hold crumbs and dust, and I will probably have to periodically shake it out. However, this is due largely to the fabric top, and unless the top was smooth plastic I don't know how you would make it easy to clean. Cloth just likes to hold onto dust and crumbs. I predict that liquids such as soda (or even worse, protein shake) will also soak into the top layer and become difficult to remove, but again, this is endemic to a cloth top. However, this probably has an easy solution I haven't thought of yet. Overall, I would recommend this pad to a friend looking for an extended mousepad. I do not regret my purchase at all.

Large, quality desk mat for a clean setup
This is a great gaming mousepad. I was weary at first as I'd never heard of the brand, but I bought this brand primarily because it was black without a logo and I'm actually impressed with the quality. It's big enough to have lots of room for my keyboard and mouse. The stitching is solid and it has a rubberized bottom so it doesn't slide around at all. Gaming specific: As an Overwatch player, I aim using my arm instead of my wrist, using low sensitivity on my mouse and I have not had an issue at all running my mouse off the mat and I can't see it ever happening. I highly recommend this.

having really bad tracking issues with this mat wouldn't recommend using this ...
Bought this mouse mat with a Razer Death adder used it for a coupple of weeks now, having really bad tracking issues with this mat wouldn't recommend using this with Razer products, saying that Razer isnt too great anyways.

Covers the keyboard and extra space!
Covers the keyboard and both sides so you can potentially stick your keyboard in the middle and be right or left handed! Exactly what I wanted. Feels good, performs even better! I recommend this!
