Good product, I use it for 40 years already . Very good for the scalp, never itchy anymore. I started to use it in Europe, found it here on Amazon!

It works, the main ingredient piroctone olamine first synthesized 1979 by Schwarzkopf-Henkel still does it job, and doesn't have environmental toxicity like the most common zinc pyrithione. It has light fragrance, which fades away pretty fast, and from the first use, my scalp stopped itching. As well it's easier to apply tonic, instead of using popular shampoo which only makes things worse, by removing the scalp oils, and keeping the skin even more irritated. The ingredients list is pretty simple and clean.

You need no special shampoo, just rub this tonic hair water after shampoo into your hair and scalp and it is gone. We used it in Germany for years, now my Mom died I could not get hair tonic anymore from Germany, Thanks to Amazon I could find it. had I known this before, it would have been cheaper to get it from Amazon. I want to mention "Schwarzkoph" is Germany's number one brand for hair care. The bottle is huge and lasts a long time. Great price. fantastic service and fast from the supplier. I do not know if I can say it, it is better than any brand name shampoo medicated or only for dandruff. Great product for all your hair problems.Can be used on children. Non-greasy. Great for women.

It's a good product, but the price in the US is ridiculous. I buy it for 3,95€ in germany!

I first tried this in Germany, and I was amazed that it actually works. In combination with regular dandruff shampoo it can eliminate dandruff, which just regular dandruff shampoo cannot at least for me. If I stop using this hair tonic, the dandruff eventually comes back, but I can use it locally in problem areas and it works great. It is unfortunate that the USA doesn't make such a product.

We bought this product, to replace Birkin haarwasser. It really is a fine product and helps me with styling, itch and dandruff. Also my wife likes it and considers it as good as the Birkin. The supplier Scharzkopf is a very well know company in Europe.
