Use these for filing my fountain pens. The needles are blunt, well made and have nice long needles to get to the bottom of a cartridge. Work great to full pens and clean out cartridges as needed. Easy to clean the syringes. Very pleased with the purchase

Easy to assemble, easy to use and easy to clean (although be careful--that cartridge holds a LOT less than you think it does--but the ink washes off your fingers easily). My problem was that the fountain pen I have used for years is now made in China and no one has cartridges for it any more because of embargoes--and I lost the converter 'way long ago. So it was either buy a new cheap fountain pen or find a way to get ink into my expensive, but ink-free pen. This works really well. And you don't really need more than one and a backup, but having five means you'll never run out. They clean really easily by just running water through them, so each one is reusable until you break it or lose it.
