This Brontë boxed set is absolutely stunning. The books are beautifully bound with embossed covers and rich, textured cloth that feels timeless and luxurious. I am so happy to add this collection to my library. It celebrates the emotional depth and literary brilliance of the Brontë sisters in a format that feels both classic and fresh.

Both my wife and I have long loved Austen's books. My favorite is Emma, hers is Pride and Prejudice. We have traded back and forth tired paperbacks or a single ponderous volume of the works for years; so I bought this set as a winter gift for us. It's pretty on the shelves, with pleasant cloth bindings with nice designs (falling leaves for Persuasion). By all means the best thing about the set, however, is that it's really just solid Penguin Classics editions in fancy dress. Which means long and thoughtful introductions, to be taken or left; excellent texts; good notes on forgotten customs or words of changed values; generally useful things really to know an author better. The books are nice to handle, the print easy though smallish; it's a pleasure to read into all of them. The price is right, as long as you really do like good books packaged well, as the valuables they contain should be.

Shipped quickly and in overall great condition. There were a couple dings on the set’s box corners but the books were in beautiful condition. Great set and I’m so happy with this purchase!

Love the books! The spelling of "Freindship" in Jane Austen's story "Love and Freindship" is not a mistake, but rather a reflection of the less standardized spelling conventions of her time, particularly when she was a young writer.

Una colección de las obras de Jane Austen hermosa e irresistible! Encuadernados de telas con estampados preciosos, hojas gruesas, notas, prólogos y presentaciones de cada libro en su interior de la época en qué salieron las obras originales. No tienen etiquetas de precios en los libros por lo que no tuve el problema de que al despegar se fuera el estampado. Creo que han tenido en cuenta este aspecto.

Ideal para fans de Jane Austen

I'm not reviewing Jane's wrok. The shipment was ok and the general look of books too. There weren't any stickers on te back and books are well made except those tree. The P and P hurts me the most, that dent on pages and also this ridge but i was expecting something worst based on opinions. If u're not scared to spend some money on books and on the covers then spend it but dont be surprised with a few damages. I've seen a lot of reviews about descening print. Nothing is coming of yet but we will see. However i have to admit the covers are rly pretty and the pages too. The font is perfect. I would say that the inside is compensates the damages on the outside.
