Did not meet my expectations.

Bought this for the spoon alone so I considered the tongs a bonus item. While I haven't used the tongs much the spoon is probably my nicest feeling and most durable kitchen utensil. Has a nice heavy feel to it and is right at home with much more expensive utensils.

Spaghetti scoop is great and sturdy. Tongs are a bit flimsy but perhaps that’s necessary for ease of use.

The spaghetti spoon is sturdy and does a good job holding the spaghetti. The pasta tongs on the other hand are thin and lightweight but feel cheap. The spring open and close operation does not adequately spring open as I expected. The metal is just too thin.

We served spaghetti at a church function, and I quickly realized that our tools were too short. I ordered these to help with our next spaghetti meal. When using big pots, you need tall tools. This reached deep into the big pot and was sturdy enough to handle a big cooking job.

Have used this once and ran thru dishwasher and is already stained and rusting - steel wool did not help. Junk - don't buy this.
