This lunch box is honestly such great quality. The compartments are the perfect size for toddler meals, and the leak-proof seal actually works even with juicy fruits and sauces. I love that it comes with a removable ice pack that keeps everything cold without taking up space. The lid snaps securely but is still easy enough for my toddler to open on their own. Cleanup is super simple too. Overall, really happy with it and would definitely buy again.

Update!! After using these upgrades I’ve pack boxes for a school year and a half, we did experience a large crack across the clasp. These boxes have a two year warranty. Customer service was phenomenal to work with. I sent an email asked about the warranty. They responded the very next day requesting pictures of my Amazon purchase details and pictures of the product issue. We now have two replacement lunch boxes on the way! After a year and a half, I still stand by my original review below. These are great boxes! No leaks! They hold an ample amount of food! And my kids love them :) End update We upgraded to these from the previous version, which did not have an ice pack. There is one less compartment. This design eliminated the dip circle in the middle, which we didn’t use anyways. But this design also eliminated the “wasted space” between compartments that existed in the old design, which now gives additional room for the remaining larger compartments. The ice pack adds a negligible amount of weight. Please do not be swayed by other reviewers that suggest that this lunch box is too heavy. When we received these boxes, they were maybe a tad difficult to click open and closed. But after the first week or so, the kids didn’t struggle anymore. So don’t be worried if it seems tough to click at first. We have had zero leak issues and we send fresh cut fruit every single day. We even send apple sauce sometimes. There have yet to be any leaks. Our picky eaters use these boxes daily throughout the entire school year. I do clean them out with hot water and a tiny dab of soap everyday right after school and toss the ice pack in the freezer. Then it’s all ready to go for my husband in the morning. Don’t hesitate to buy these. We really do love them!!

Bought for my 4 year old to take lunch to school. He’s a cheese and fruit fiend. Find that it keeps the food pretty cool for Lunch time. Easy to open, close and clean. Lasted through the whole school year unscathed. Would buy more.

Love these lunch boxes! I have for both of my kids and use them everyday. I love that the compartments are spacious and it comes with a freezer tray attachment. It keeps items cold for several hours.

I recently tried a Bentgo lunch box for my child, and overall, I’m pretty impressed. The compartment design is super practical — it has enough sections to separate fruit, veggies, dip, and a main item, which helps me pack balanced lunches easily. The boxes feel sturdy and have rubber-coated edges, so they’re pretty drop-resistant. The lid seals well most of the time, but I’ve read (and noticed over time) that some of the silicone gasket areas can be tricky to fully clean, and there is a risk of mold if not dried properly. Some parents also mention that the latches can be hard for younger kids to open or close. One major plus: the tray inside is dishwasher-safe, which makes cleanup easy. But the outer shell, especially around the seal, seems to require hand washing to preserve the gasket. In terms of size, it’s very kid-friendly, though for older or hungrier kids, the portioned compartments may feel a little small.

We have to Bentgo lunch boxes that do not have a built in ice pack and I wish we had gotten these instead for my kindergarten kid. It’s roomier and easier than remembering multiple ice packs and shoving everything in a lunch box. NOTE: the lid on this does not fully fold back like the regular Bentgo. It’s stops at the top so you can’t push the lid all the way flat backwards. This may not be appealing to some people. We don’t care/mind. I just told my son it doesn’t fold back and he knows not to force/break it.
