Excellent alternative to Shure SM58 pop filter
This is a very good pop filter for the price. The quality of the foam is not quite as good as the first-party Shure filter, however, the fit is better. The Shure filter has just a straight cut into the foam for the mic so there is a gap around the body of the microphone. The YouShares has a shaped cutout inside that fits the SM58 ball more neatly. As far as sound quality, I cannot discern a significant difference between the two. Definitely recommended! Edit: these come in compressed packaging, presumably to save space when shipping. I got mine into proper shape quickly by running warm water over them and then squeezing them dry in paper towels.

Works to keep mics spit free
These microphone foam covers works well to keep my mini mics saliva and spit free. They are thick and feel solid to hopefully last awhile. The multiple colors is a nice touch. If they were a little smaller they would be perfect for a nice snug cover. But overall, good item at a great price.

Very nice
I don't understand why people dislike this so much. The main reason i use it is for spit. Redundant to say but it does that very well. Sure it takes like 1db away and i don't really care about the plosives. Been washing it with soap and water and no damage whatsoever. Will keep holding up for pretty long.

it's okay but it smells noxious
I don't see it blocking the wind very much, but it does fit my odd-ball shaped Guitar Hero World Tour mic which is nice. I wasn't expecting much from this at the price point it is. My biggest qualm is that it smells like it was taken from a factory fire. It literally smells of burned wood and other indescribable toxins. Kind of concerned to have it anywhere near my face. Guess that'll teach me from getting too close to the mic.

Works great! Not quite as good as a pop filter for the pops though
I mean i know that they aren't dedicated for getting rid of the pops like pop filters but they do an okay job. 5 stars though because they are great at what they do (wind protections etc) when playing live in an open space.
