It really works!
I love salad. I love buying lettuce at a bargain at our local ranch market. I HATE chopping it. Well, those days are over! This gadget actually works, and fast! I bought it with my fingers crossed, based on the reviews, and I must say, I wish I'd seen this sooner. It's easy to use, a breeze to rinse clean and most importantly, it WORKS! Hooray!!

I was impressed by the youtube video reviews and demos. It works easily enough but is best if the lettuce is not in very large pieces. And a bigger bowl works better, too, giving it more cutting area.

Easy to use and makes salad preparation very easy
This is excellent if you eat a lot of salad. You can just throw the lettuce into your bowl and give it a few chops and it’s good to go.

I absolutely loved the Chef'n SaladShears Nylon Lettuce Chopper! Not only were the serrated nylon blades incredibly efficient at chopping through my lettuce, but they were also super easy to clean. And let's not forget that this chopper is top-rack dishwasher safe - it's like the Chef'n team read my mind! The only downside I found was that it wasn't as versatile with other vegetables as I would've liked, but hey, sometimes you gotta specialize to really excel. Overall, I highly recommend this...

Looks like it wont cut but does the job so well!
I bought this salad chopper for my mom for mothers day 2013 because she and I would always go to the Fairway supermarket to buy chopped salads as a mini tradition, and I thought, Why not make it ourselves and save money? When I ordered this we were a little apprehensive because it didnt have the sharp blade that we were used to seeing, but we soon realized there was really no reason to be at all! This chopper chops so well! It's totally not just for lettuce! We added hard-to-chop things like chicken, raw broccoli and cauliflower, and even raw carrots and it went right through everything! Some more pros: *It doesn't have a dangerous, sharp blade so its more safe around the little ones (thought i would still avoid having it near them, haha), *it's EASY TO WASH. I dont know about dishwasher safe since we don't have one, but it is easy to clean and the two shears split apart a bit so you can go into the corners and clean in there. *Save money going to buy chopped salads! We avoided adding things like chickpeas and diced carrots to our salads that we bought because they add a lot of weight, and can cause the salad to go up to even $10. Save money by making your own, fresh, salad with hands that you trust! Overall: great buy, and a great mothers day (or any other day) gift for the salad lovers like us!

Perfect for chopped salads!
I hated eating salads before discovering Subway's chopped salads, so rather than pay $10 to always have one, I bought this tool instead. No regrets whatsoever! This tool chops anything you would want in a salad (greens, chicken, steak, cucumbers, peppers, etc) flawlessly. Now I'm eating healthy chopped salads all the time! I would definitely recommend this tool to anyone who likes chopped salads!
