J World Sundance Laptop Rolling Backpack for Girls Boys. Roller Bookbag with Wheels, 20 Inch, Galaxy

My youngest just started middle school and has to carry WAY TO MUCH stuff. They have done away with lockers, so everything has to be kept with them all day. He was experiencing horrible back pain so we looked for a rolling backpack to preserve his spine. I'm really glad I settled on this one. It has plenty of room inside to organize all his supplies, books, laptop, lunch, and even his jacket. It holds two large water bottles with no problem. The handle adjusts to two heights easily and the wheels are very smooth and quiet. I was a little wary after some of the reviews I saw, but after 5 months, it's still going strong (with the exception of one small superficial tear in the main compartment lining). Overall, he's very happy and so am I. Worth every penny.

This was an answer to a real problem I had. I used to carry around an insulated bag for water (and other drinks) to keep my drinks cold as I was out and about, as well as a purse. If I were attending a meeting, I might also carry a tote bag with papers, notebooks, reference books, or even a laptop computer in it, depending on what I was doing. All of these, I carried on my left shoulder. Then, I injured my shoulder pretty badly. I could no longer carry my insulated bag on my shoulder. And it was really weird trying to carry stuff in other ways. I kept trying to throw stuff on my shoulder and instantly regretting it. A lifetime habit is hard to break. So, I got this. You can pull it behind you, and it works great. It carries everything I need. Yes, it has a section that is semi-insulated. It's not quite as good as the actual insulated pouch I used to carry, but it does keep the drinks cold a lot longer than a regular bag. Meanwhile, it has other sections that can carry pretty much anything else I might want to carry. I can transfer the stuff from my purse if I want to, or I can still carry my purse separately. (I've done both ways.) And, as an extra bonus, unlike my old insulated bag, there is a netted area on each side to store a bottle or a cup that I'm actively drinking from, too, leaving the semi-insulated area free to keep the refills cold. The wheels are smooth. They can be a bit loud, depending on what surface you are pulling it along, but there's no harm in that. (You won't be sneaking up on anybody with this in tow, though - that's for sure.) In short, this bag makes my life a lot better.

My 9 year old started school 3 weeks ago and hes been using this backpack. He has been a little reckless with his backpacks over the years and this year is no exception. There is a little bit of wearing to the corner of the small front pocket because he keeps his pencil box in there and anytime the backpack twists onto the ground it gets scrapped up. I think it will have a hole by the end of the year but I think any backpack would. It can be rolled or worn like a backpack but Its pretty heavy for a kid to wear on his back because of the metal structure in the back for the rolling mechanism and handle.

This rolling backpack is great in all aspects – durable material, smooth wheels, and a cute design. My kid loves using it for school. The only downside is the side water bottle pocket is too short, which causes the bottle to keep falling out. Hope this can be improved in the future.

Bought this rolling backpack for my 9-year-old son, and it’s exactly what he needed for school. The storage capacity is impressive – it easily fits all his books, lunch, and even his laptop when needed. The organization is great with the multiple compartments and side pockets. The straps feel sturdy and supportive when he chooses to carry it on his back, and the travelability of the wheels and handle makes it easy for him to roll when the bag is heavy. It’s a little on the weight side when fully packed, but overall, the protection and space it provides makes it worth it. A solid choice for kids who need a big, reliable bag.

Double disappointment unfortunately. We bought this backpack twice in the hopes that we could make it work. The first one we purchased we returned because the wheels severed the straps as my kiddo wheeled it around school over a period of a few weeks. The issue is the straps fabric drag on the floor - other models have a little Velcro addition that you can stick the strap to in order to keep it out the way of the wheels. Not this one. So they severed rendering the function of the straps useless. We ordered another to see if we could work around it and nope. The breakage on the straps has been worse on the last one, with pieces of the plastic strap attachments just clean shearing off. So now we have only one strap in tact (all weirdly wrapped up upon itself to avoid the severing issue!) and the other strap just hangs and floats with nowhere to thread or attach because that piece has sheared off. If your kid is going to wear this backpack, perhaps it would be longer lasting - it’s spacious and has good compartments. But for rolling? It’s a total waste of good money, highly regret trying this backpack again.

I love it! Very good quality to keep my laptop safe. I love the rollers. No more carrying a back pack hurting my back. I got the one with the mushrooms on it and it is exactly what it’s shown on the picture

I was looking for a rolling backpack as much like the one I had worn out as possible. I found it in this J World Laptop Rolling Backpack. It came today and as usual I just cut out the thick pad for the laptop since I wont use it, loaded it with my stuff and I'm good to go. I love the big smooth rolling wheels and the easy glide handle. It was a steal at 53.00 which included shipping. I got black which is my preferred color. I like having a smaller pocket at the top where I can drop my keys, my cell phone, my small flashlight and, alas, my pepper spray. I've had other backpacks that did not have this pocket and vowed to never buy another one that didn't have it. It's soooo convenient. Thanks Amazon. OVER A YEAR LATER: Just ordered a second one though the other one is still good. Wanted a lighter color for summer. Have given all my other rolling backpacks to the mission downtown since these are just so much better than any others I have found. A year later - both the others are still good but I wanted something bright for spring and summer. I got the Green with yellow flowers. They call it Khaki but it's green thank goodness. Again, cut out the place for the Laptop and I'm ready for summer. I get lots of compliments on these backpacks. STILL LATER: I'm now on my 4th bag like this. None of them ever wore out. When I got tired of the color I gave the bag to the Mission so some street person could use it. The one I have now is the Paisley and I just love the color. It is my very favorite so far. I want to say that I give my bags hard wear. I do a lot of walking and shopping and sometimes put too much stuff in one of these but I've never had one fail. Wheels still work fine, handle still works fine, zippers still work fine. STILL LATER. I am now on my 5th one of these I guess. I got the blue with roses s*** time and it looks great. I always give my old one to the mission for the homeless people who love rolling bags. I get a lot of compliments on my bags.

I have home IVs and purchased this bag to carry them around with me so i dont have to use an Iv pole! Its bog enough to carry both 3L & 1L bags of fluids in just one pocket and plus extra additional items in the other pockets! This is a must for medical goods and when its too heavy to carry you can wheel it like a suitcase! I love it and has lasted very well. It also hangs well off the back of wheelchairs too so i can take it with me when i go out.
