The media could not be loaded. I have a nearly three year old boy who is definitely in his car/truck phase. Being in Texas we always have lots of construction to see on the road, so my kid is always engaged in that type of “scene”. When I introduced this kit to him, he literally screamed at the top of his lungs and said “my home” since he associates anything with construction and building to a house/home. I say and include all of that because of the gift giving reaction I was hoping to achieve - he was super excited, could self-associate, and the sand material does have that magic effect on him, particularly since I live in Corpus Christi and he is used to the feel of real sand on the beach. Easy to clean everything back up and put away since it can all be contained in the kit that it comes in. I included a video so you can clearly see how the sand clings together and does not leave residue. Highly recommend this as a gift!!

My 4 year old son loves this set and plays with it often. The first week he got it he played with it every day. My 19 month old also had fun playing with this. This gave me some uninterrupted mom time to get things done while the kids were entertained. 100% worth the purchase. I only let him play on the table with this as I have heard the kinetic sand can get messy in carpets/rugs. I don’t want to find out the hard way, so I will not chance it. Overall this is a great product!!

Such a hit with the 3 yo grandson. He loved the feel of the sand and had loads of fun playing with the accessories that come with the kit. One note for moms - the case doesn't close securely enough to store the sand after opening it without putting it into a plastic bag or other container first.

The toys that come with the kit are great. The picture is very misleading in the amount of sand provided. It barely fills one side of the tote.

This kinetic sand keeps my son occupied for a good while. He is pretty messy with it, but it cleans up very nice. It holds up very well, its nice and soft and does not dry out when he forgets to put the lid on the container that its kept in. It's also very affordable.

If you have a little one that loves construction tools and construction site toys, this is a great gift. I purchased this for my nephew, who has wanted it ever since he saw it at another friend’s birthday party. It’s been a huge hit and I would definitely recommend this product if you are looking for something similar that is both educational and fun. Because it comes in a construction case, it is easy to pick up without causing a mess.
