Erborian BB Cream SPF 20, Tone-Evening, Korean Skincare Makeup Hybrid

Hands down of my favorite creams. I use it daily, it has great coverage, it's lightweight and it makes my skin glow. Especially love for the hot weather we're having now, as it doesn't "melt".

Okay, I’ve tried a few foundations over the years and hated every one of them. So I rarely wore it. I had a tinted sunscreen I liked that would blend my coloring a bit and used it for years. But it would rub off throughout the day, and now, in perimenopause, my skin is aging - more discoloration and fine lines. My go-to tinted sunscreen just wasn’t cutting it! I always thought BB Crème was for the beauty queens and makeup connoisseurs. I never looked into it because I’m not big on makeup in general. But I finally saw a video talking about how it’s perfect for a natural finish, better than a foundation, and very suitable for those of us “non-makeup” people. And now, I’m hooked! Some notes on coloring… I am pale (FP type 2) with cool pink undertones. I tried the lightest shade and it made me look ghastly white. If you aren’t Nicole Kidman, don’t bother. So I tried the medium shade. Unfortunately, it was a little too yellow and didn’t quite look right. But I still had the light color one, so I added a smidge of it to the medium color and…. Perfection! It doesn’t look like I’m wearing makeup, which is huge for me. You need very little for excellent coverage and it lasts all day. It doesn’t cake into pores or fine lines, or crust around blemishes. I wish I’d tried bb crème years earlier! Another note, I recently went on Tretinoin, which has caused my face to shed like crazy (IFKYK). I looked scary. Guaranteed that regular foundation would have made it look much worse! But I can lather on a heavy layer of oil-based moisturizer and this crème will still lay nicely over it. And while I am still dry and flaky, this crème “holds” it on my face better so it’s not obvious. It’s been a lifesaver and I’m no longer embarrassed to go out in public :) Get some of this!

This is the second time I've bought this BB cream, and I can confidently say it's the best one I've ever tried. It doesn't make my skin look greasy, applies smoothly over any moisturizer or SPF cream, doesn't pill, and keeps an even tone throughout the day. The scent is light and pleasant, the longevity is great, it stays fresh all day and the overall quality is excellent. The price is a bit high for such a small tube, but honestly, it's worth every penny. The only thing that disappointed me with this order was that the tube arrived a bit dirty with some small debris on the surface. I think that's more of a supplier issue than a problem with the cream itself, so I won't be lowering my rating for that.

I'll start by saying the product itself is high quality. It has a lovely, velvety texture that melts into the skin without feeling heavy or greasy. It provides nice, light coverage that evens out skin tone for a natural look, which is exactly what you want from a good BB cream. However, my main issue is with the value proposition. As you can see from my photo, this 0.5 oz / 15 ml tube is very small, definitely a travel or trial size. For the price, the amount of product you receive is quite low compared to other high-end and even drugstore options. So, while I'm okay with the performance of the cream, I personally don't see it as good value for money for regular use. I'd recommend this if you want to test the shade before buying the larger, more economical size, or if you need a high-quality product specifically for a short trip and don't mind the premium cost for the convenience.

I am just in the beginning phases of transforming my makeup routine according to my age. This is a game changer. It doesn’t sit in my wrinkles or fine lines and it covers perfectly and it lasts pretty long in a hot Florida sweaty heat.

I’ve been using this for about 8 years now. I’ll never use anything else. Unlike almost all other bbs, it is not greasy and it gives a great sheen that is not 100% matte but really close. True matte looks terrible on people anyways. This is more like, as advertised, a baby skin matte. My only complaint is the lack of tint options. I usually buy a tube of claire and a tube of dore and mix 2/3 Claire with 1/3 dore. I only apply makeup in the morning and this stuff stays all day and night. I’ve tried all of the really expensive bbs and ccs and nothing has come anywhere close to this one. I have about 20 different expensive bottles of bb that I only used once. I don’t waste my money any more. Erborian or bust!

I like this because it is totally good for sensitive skin. But it’s the one Erborian product I don’t love and can live without. The protection level is pretty low; even other products in this line provide a higher level of sun protection. So this has to be used with something with a stronger SPF. The coverage is mediocre, and there isn’t a wow factor with this. I find the grey tube Erborian CC cream to be superior as it is good coverage with high SPF. This one is meh. For a truly matte finish I go to supergoop matte sunscreen which works great on hot days - I did not find this to be that mattifying on my skin either.

Me gusta el acabado se siente ligero y natural. Con poco producto te ajusta para todo el rostro. No deja grasoso. No tapa imperfecciones pero si mejora la apariencia

Muy buen producto. Es ideal para mejorar el tono y textura de la piel, no es una base por lo que su cobertura no es full. Mi piel es grasa y propensa al acné y me ha ido muy bien. Llego a tiempo y no llegó dañado.
