Star Trek 10-Movie Stardate Collection (Blu-ray + Digital)

This one purchase is a good way to get all the original and next generation movies, 12 discs in total, 10 movies. There are two discs for the Motion Picture Directors cut. As with all Paramount complete collections, these discs are in a bad case that causes you to pull on the discs until you feel as if you are going to break them. The movies look good on blu ray and they sound good. If you do not have 4k capabilities, then this is the way to go.

Great disks, but very poor cover art. Most of this review will consist of that. Quality of the movies is fine. They're all great. I cant fathom why this is 70 dollars. I bought it on sale for 25. Maybe its the rarity, but considering the dull disk art, the slipcover case, and really not even any bonus features, consider looking for used for anywhere from 20-30 usd. It does come with all 10 digital codes. I made my own slip art because paramount can't make a collection even look good. Just ship it with the bland gray disk art and slap some text of all the movies on the back. Ive seen better releases than this, including the first 6 films release. Included both a photo of og slip aet vs mine which I printed. Also, cant help but notice the og slip art uses a non-italicised version of the new trilogy font from 2009 film instead of the og font, which is also printed on the first 6 film disks. Absolute disgrace. The graphic designer needs to be fired. When i pick up a disk set like this, for 70 dollars which its now listed, i want to be reminded of whats on the movies. A blank white canvas with the enterprise warping and a single shot of the enterprise E on the back doesnt do justice at all. Anyways, sorry about the rant on the slip art. This just doesnt really sell 70 dollars to me. More like 25 to 30 usd.

Long time Star Trek fan. Bought the different TV series, but never the movies. Great BluRay 10 movie collection. Really liked the narrative segments in the Extras. All at a reasonable price. Recommend.

THIS IS A NICE COMPLETE SET FOR ANY STAR TREK FANS. THE SET COMES WITH 9 BLU-RAY DVDS ALL CLEARLY LABELED. THERE ARE ALSO 9 DIGITAL REDEMPTION CODES THAT CAN BE CLAIMED THROUGH PARAMOUNT. THE DIGITAL VERSIONS ARE HOSTED BY A THIRD PARTY SUCH AS APPLE TV APP OR FANDANGO AT HOME APP. YOU CAN REDEEM THE VOUCHERS BUT THE MOVIES DO NOT PLAY ON FANDANGO. I PERSONALLY WAS LOOKING TO BUY THE PHYSICAL DVD'S SO IT DID NOT BOTHER ME. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR THE DIGITAL VERSIONS I WOULD LOOK ELSEWHERE. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COLLECTION FOR YOUR BLU-RAY COLLECTION.

Watched the first one with my son and mom for the first time all together. No issues and a core memory unlocked for my son.

Great quality movies on bluray. All the disks were there and in good condition. Case was also in good condition. I watched these all right away when I got them. Love the movies.

Great collection. This 12 disc set is from latest 4K scans. Discs seem to be region free as worked fine on my Region B disc player. Lots of extras. Same menu structure across all the discs for consistency (and continuity).
