Vijim Vl120 Led On Camera Video Light Bi-Color Led Soft Panel Fill Light

This LED video light is very compact, which makes it easy to carry and use anywhere. It comes with a silicone diffuser that does a great job softening the light, making it look much nicer for videos. The light output is more than enough to create decent-quality videos, especially if you’re already using a good camera. It really helps improve the overall look of the footage. The battery life is also very good and lasts long enough for recording sessions. Overall, I really liked it. It’s a small but very useful light for video.

I couldn’t be more impressed with this light. I was shooting with a Lumix GX85 and their Leica 8-18. This light made nighttime pictures and videos easy. Great brightness and temperature control. It comes with a diffuser, several color inserts, charging cable, and an excellent camera mount. The price is quite incredible. I was able to illuminate the subject of the picture/video while retaining subtle lighting in the background. The camera focused easily and the exposure was easy to control. Highly recommend!!!

The product arrived on time; all parts were present and intact; and it appears to work just as advertised. The price, of course, is irresistible. And this handy little LED light comes in a smart, attractive package: one that could well be used as a storage container. The VL-120 might be the smartest small electronic device I’ve ever owned. Used for what it’s designed for, it’s amazing. Clearly, they consulted with photographers (small-studio photographers at that). It can be mounted to most cameras via the cold shoe for an additional source of continuous light on your subject (fill light) for close-ups and (within reason) even somewhat longer shots. The cold shoe fits both my full-frame sensor Nikon DSLR (FX) and my crop-sensor Canon DSLR (APS-C). (Sadly, it doesn’t fit my ancient Minolta SLRs, but some prudent filing or grinding might fix that.) This versatile light also can be used as an off-camera tabletop studio light if you attach it to a stand or tripod via the ¼” threaded port. Controls, though necessarily small, are accessible (helps to have fingernails) and responsive. At full intensity, the light is plenty bright enough for its intended use. Color tone adjusts easily from a bright sunlightish 6500k to a much warmer 3200k. The instructions included are much better than average and obviously written and/or edited by native English speakers. The product is engineered well enough that most everything is intuitive anyway, but I like printed instructions. The light diffuser fits on fairly easily, and the color gels fit inside the diffuser without a problem (remember to peel away the film covers on the gels). You can’t use the gels without the diffuser, but that seems a minor drawback, since the lamp’s lens is a diffuser anyway. In fact, you could not get harsh, hard light from this unit without some serious modification, and why would you do that? The USB power cable connects via the same type plug used on most smart phones (type C). To plug the VL-120 into a wall socket for continued use, you must supply an AC adapter. If you look around your house, you’ll likely find one. I have two or three of them. That is the only thing you might need that isn’t included, and they cost next to nothing. Amazon teems with them. I gladly give the VL-120 5 stars, and, depending on how I use it, I might get another one. I can’t review their customer service, because I haven’t needed any! Thank you.

Inhavevthis hoing for about 4 years now still going strong. I am able to do a 4 hour shoot with this comfortably. I even use it as a back up light when light goes here. Gor small spaces it is very bright and when doing enclosed product shoot it is bright. But not so bright for outdoor night shoots. Barely help at all with lighting. It is easy to adjust grom dim to bright. I love it I xarry it withe almost every where its small and light. The color gels snd diffusers are great the clear flim on it to protect it from scratching has statted to lift but hels are still going strong. I love it I would get another if gor nothing else to use as light for when electricity goes. Carried me through the night once, kept it close ever since.

Love this it last along time it’s super bright love that you can change the tone and it’s the perfect size!

Best in quality and easy to use. I would love it changes colors rather than use the plastic filters. But it works perfect for what’s was design for.

First the negative. I ordered 2 for myself in 2 months ago. One of them is still working exactly as advertised, while the other no longer functions after 6 weeks of occasional use. The charging lights are stuck on permanently (lights have been stuck on for a week) and does not turn on anymore (see attached photo of lights stuck on, power switch on but no output). For the price, it is precisely what I wanted. It's small and fits in my pocket, SUPER BRIGHT at max output and the color temperature adjustment is perfectly smooth at 50-100% brightness. It fits a standard tripod mount and the softbox is wonderful. My only critique is that one of them died and seems to be completely useless. I wish I could have given this product a better rating based on the performance of the still functioning light :(

This light is built very well and the brightness is unreal! Put the white rubber diffuser on or you'll be sorry! Very easy to operate with the two dials to control brightness and warmth. Additional colored pieces add a creative touch to your photos. First time buying a Vijim product and not the last. Also simple to mount to hotshoe on camera. Just slide the mount into hotshoe, place light on screw and tighten it up! One tightens the adapter in place, other tightens screw to light. Great value too! Ordered two days ago and got here today via Amazon delivery.

mi accompagna durante ogni sessione fotografica e di ripresa notturna. Grande durata della batteria e ottima per il cambiamento di calore della luce. Peccato solo che non sia possibile cambiare anche colore non essendo una luce RGB come quelle di ultima generazione. Non l'ho mai utilizzata con le cartoline colorate fornite in dotazione, penso siano un po' troppo scomode

No la ocupamos mucho pero en menos de un año tuvo un falso en el botón de encendido. Vale la pena invertir en una un poco mas cara pero que dure mas.
